Step inside this quaint little rental and get comfortable. It has a wonderfully trendy yet welcoming style, with shiplap walls, brick in the kitchen, and plenty of cozy spaces to relax. This home now has a free standing gas stove where you can see the flames, similar to wood burning appearance! Watch some TV, complete with Roku, Netflix streaming, and a DVD library and player. Check in with folks at home with the complimentary WiFi.

At mealtime, cook up something delicious in the well-equipped kitchen, which features standard appliances, including a dishwasher. Savor your meal with your guests at the dining table for six. In the summer, fire up the gas grill for some easy kabobs and dine al fresco while you lounge in the beach chairs to the sound of the waves nearby. Follow your meal up with marshmallows roasting on the outdoor firepit and enjoy some tasty s'mores.

This section of the beach tends to be uncrowded, and it's a wonderful place to search for desirable agates. A new outdoor shower makes washing off sand a breeze.

And if you're in the mood to get out and explore, visit the Siletz Bay National Wildlife Refuge for wildlife viewing and photo ops - look across they bay from Lincoln City and you might see the sea lions sunning themselves on the sand. Great location!
Overall my fiancé and I loved this place! I will say the photos are quite different then what it currently looks like. There are no longer the bunk beds, we didn’t have access to the bikes also but this wasn’t a big deal. We loved how close this was to the beach, and how homey it felt. My only complaints would be that the indoor fire place would immediately trigger the fire alarm, so we opted to not use it. We also noticed that there was a lot of dust and unclean surfaces, as well as half used shampoo available. Not huge issues because we were more interested in exploring, but for the price, the cleaning could be a bit better. For the location, I would highly recommend this house.

Beach getaway
Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Beds were comfortable enough for decent sleep. Shower was small but functional. Driveway definitely could fit two normal sized cars, bumper to bumper, although was a bit narrow. Quite close to the beach access point.

All was well except the door lock. It was night when we arrived and the wind was blowing; very cold. After many attempts to work the lock we gave up and called the host. He was very nice and said he would bring a key as the lock box didn’t contain a key. While he was coming we tried the door lock one more time and it opened. Once inside every thing was excellent.

Exceptional Property
My wife and I are always looking for a cozy place on the Oregon coast that will take dogs. Last year we found a place that ended up being a nightmare. Not as advertised, extremely small, allowed pets but was basically a bad hotel room. We were looking for something stand alone this year, a little closer to the beach. Found this wonderful cottage and booked it, hoping for a better experience this year. It was everything we could’ve hoped for. It would be a little small for bigger groups, but was more than enough for the wife and two dogs. Very quiet neighborhood, parking was a little tight for a truck, but we had no issues. Cottage was clean and comfortable, honestly only stopped by to rest a minute or sleep. We did not use any amenities, but nice to know all of them were available if we needed. We look forward to staying again next year.

Super cute and dog friendly house, close to the beach and great location. If i’m getting SUPER nit picky then small things like the windows and there was a little dog poop in the yard but none of those made the house or trip less enjoyable. 5 stars and totally recommend!!

This was our first attempt at a place other than the "looking glass inn", in my advanced RA I can't go without AC so we had to adjust. This was perfect! There were pans, dishes, cook wear, and utensils... We should have brought a few things... Tin foil, pam spray, and seasoning (pepper and salt). The shower was small but there is an outdoor version that would help those that are on the bigger size. The fact the beach is so close was great, a slight hill to the beach which for someone with walking issues is hard but there is a parking lot just at the entrance of the beach which was awesome! It's such a peaceful place.. So if you're looking to party - this might not be the place, we saw patrol officers and cops many times in just 2 days, which I was very happy about-I felt very safe! So peaceful and nice. Trying to figure out my next visit booking on line was so simple and check in and check out was so simple. I had codes, logins and info the day before check in! There's grocery just down the street and restaurant (2 min walk) if that just down the street! We should have gone but didn't see it until we traveled all the way back to Lincoln City... We were bummed we spent time we didn't need to and got burger king and wished we had gone to the shalishan tavern instead. The fire pit would have been amazing but we just didn't have a chance to use it. Can't wait to return... It's a great place!

Cute place to stay
It was a nice little cottage for a quick getaway. The check in and out were easy, the place was clean (just visual wear and tear that happens with an older building but it was clean!), well stocked kitchen of many tools and appliances you might need to cook. Washer and dryer worked fine- watch the washer it can get out of balance and shake out of its spot. The beach was close, it’s a quiet little neighborhood. Lovely time, no issues

Close to Beach but Needs Some Attention
The location of this quaint little property was good for us as we were visiting family nearby. It is also a close walk to beach views and access, which is nice. The inside of the house was clean, but there were about 3-4 large piles of dog feces in the yard, which we picked up. The window coverings in the kitchen and dining area were badly broken, which the property manager did offer to attend to but it wasn't a huge deal for us, so we declined. The dish washer was out of service and the two ice trays in the freezer were both broken/leaking, so we had to go to the market and buy a bag of ice. The bathroom is spacious and clean, but there is no fan and it is located pretty much right in the kitchen/dining area. Also the shower is extremely tight. While the yard is fully fenced in, it is quite short so if you have a large or motivated escape artist of a dog, beware. Also the pans in the kitchen seemed to all be scratched and warped, so they wouldn't lay flat on the stovetop. These are all things that wouldn't bother us much if we were indeed just paying the advertised nightly rate, which is very reasonable, but after paying all the VRBO/Vacasa fees, the nightly rate is about the same as a nice, oceanfront hotel room with a later check out.

Enjoyed our stay
The rental is an interesting “old fashioned” beach house. It was comfortable and well located for beach exploring or visiting between Depot Bay and Lincoln City. There was a wood stove and a fire pit but we found no evidence of firewood. A little disappointing since there was no mention, on the listing, of the need to bring our own. It would be nice if the broken blinds on the kitchen & dining room windows were replaced or at the least removed, and the dishwasher fixed. All in all, we were comfortable and would be happy to rent the place again.

Not impressed. Small house.
No one was comfortable here. The bunk beds are for young ones only. Only door was to the bedroom. Not a door to the "second" bedroom. Overgrown plants outside not maintained.. We deserved 3 nights and left after 1. Disappointed my parents, my husband and myself.Wasted 2 nights rent as well.

Sweet little cottage with wonderful amenities. Homey and comfortable.
This property is one we will be booking again for a short vacation get away. It is well kempt and well stocked with whatever one could need. The master bed is a bit difficult to get into and out of but comfortable. Love to see the bathroom blind reversed so it pulls up from bottom of window vs down as usual. This would allow light while providing privacy. We brought our own wood due to an online review read by my friend. Thankful we did as the fireplace is wonderful!! It is a sweet little get away perfect for walking to and from beach as well as all about the neighborhood.

Cabin probably great for summer when you aren't inside most of the time. Couches okay, but not particularly comfy. Had 7 mo and couldn't let her crawl around as floor wasn't very clean, but everything else was clean and well stocked.

Would be a good choice --at a lower price
This is a modest family neighborhood, but not my favorite sort of beach, with big houses sitting on the cliff overlooking a beach that was, in September near full moon, beaten by enormous waves. The house is a cute little cabin, midway between hwy 101 (so not too noisy) and the beach, with an extra room tacked on the back. Tiny fenced yard with a miniature apple tree, big modern tv and stereo system, well supplied kitchen, even a sheltered shower outside in case you come home too sandy. The flooring was handsome but the vacuuming incomplete. I also could not tell if my comforter had been washed--no duvet cover to remove. All in all, I'd recommend for a couple only IF the price were reduced. It came in near the price of another beach house we sometimes rent, one much bigger and more pleasant, with a balcony view of the ocean. I'd recommend that the price be dropped to match the market. We had a lock malfunction, but the problem was dealt with efficiently and fairly. Good staff on call worked hard to correct the problem.

Cute home, short walk to beach
Our family of 5 came to this home for a 5 night stay and had a wonderful time!! Pros: - Nice kitchen with many items for use ( coffee grinder, French press, blender), comfortable king bed, easy & peaceful walk to beach, kids loved the wii, loved the beach items and bikes. Cons: The bunk bed sleeping area is a little smaller and tight fitting than we expected. For my teen daughters, it was a challenge for them getting in and out of bed. Would definitely not say it sleeps 6 adults. Kitchen also lacked any kind of “extras” for cooking like an oil or seasonings outside of salt/pepper. The shower is very small. It was impossible for our tall son ( he is 6’3”) to shower. But with all that- for the price- we had an amazing time!! We also highly recommend checking out the variety of slugs that come out at night! We found them Fascinating!

Rustic but comfortable
The cottage is cozy and great for small dogs. However, it is quite rustic and, on the surface, looks worn. The on-line pictures were mostly accurate. There is now a mini-split unit above the TV that replaces the large gas space heater on the wall in the kitchen. There is no longer a wood-framed futon in the living room. There is now a leather recliner next to a small loveseat. The refrigerator is no longer a side-by-side, and there is no ice maker. Ice trays were in one of the drawers. The refrigerator was not set to a proper temperature when we arrived. The lid to the blender was nowhere to be found. The shades in the bedroom have been replaced with miniblinds that are in poor shape. Going to bed before dark or sleeping in is difficult in the summer given how little the blinds block daylight. The miniblinds over the sink are pretty much unworkable. The shower is uncomfortably small. The hose to the hand-held shower is days away from splitting open. There is no chest of drawers for clothes. The carpet in the second bedroom is worn. There is no vacuum cleaner. The instructions for the AV remotes are outdated as they refer to a remote that has been replaced. Although they state that there is cable TV, the subscription includes only about 6 channels – basically just the network channels. You can watch other programs using the Roku, assuming you know how to use the Roku as there are no instructions for guests. The Roku has a button for Hulu, but you cannot add the app as the Roku is password protected. So even if you have a Hulu subscription, you can’t access it on this Roku. The fence around the property is only about 2 feet high, so larger dogs can easily jump over it. There is no welcome book or anything to explain how things work other than the AV system and the mini split. On the positive side, the home is comfortable, even if a bit rustic. Everything worked, after figuring out the AV system. The WiFi worked great. The gas grill worked well. The minisplit kept us warm. If you walk your dogs in the neighborhood, be prepared for untethered dogs to walk/run out to “greet” your dogs. Our small dogs weren’t ever attacked, but they were stressed by this as was I. Having said the above, we enjoyed our stay. Our two small dogs loved the yard, and they really loved running off leash on the beach, which is an easy 4-minute walk away. This property is not for everyone, but it was a good choice for us – 2 adults and two small dogs.

The house is as described, adequate for a small family. Kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils. No wifi or cable available, we followed the instructions and reset the router a few times. When we emailed for help, we were told the property management would respond with help, but we never heard anything. Location is tucked in a neighborhood a few blocks from the beach. Great fire pit in the backyard- but bring your own wood. King bed was really comfortable.

Wouldn't stay here again
Arrived on a cold day to a very cold house. The heat was insufficient for the house, had to use provided space heaters to help the mini-split heater. No firewood, should have brought my own. Basics provided. Comfy bed with down comforters. Floors are uneven and there is a spongy spot in the kitchen floor. Needs overall cleaning-- for instance food/lint/chips collected between movable counter and stove. Mold on kitchen and bedroom window sill. Broken bifold door to second bedroom. Outdoor furniture is rusty, looks like it's waiting to be hauled to the dump. Washer and dryer provided but washer is dirty and has some rust. Off balance so sounds like it will explode during the spin cycle. House is close to the beach with fairly easy access. Neighbor across the street has sign posted in his yard stating anti-vacation rental opinion so didn't feel very welcome. Spoke with manager about arriving to a very cold house and basically was told, oh yeah, it's was warm last week. Just get the space heaters out of the closet. You can buy firewood at the market on 101. He said he'd remind the housekeepers to turn on the heater for the next group. Did not hear back from him to see if everything was okay/better. Very small shower but lots of hot water. We have booked through VRBO to rent several times before and been very pleased. Not sure we will do so again. At least we will make sure not to book with Vacasa again. Did not measure up.
