From the moment we arrived Hotel Colorado, the experience was underwhelming and frustrating. For the high price we paid, we expected top-tier service and hospitality. Unfortunately, what we got was the complete opposite.
First, there was no warm welcome. The staff at check-in seemed disinterested and cold, as if they were just going through the motions — no smiles, no hospitality.
We were surprised to learn that parking came with an extra charge, which was not made clear beforehand.
To make matters worse, the room was clearly not prepared for three guests, even though we had booked for three. The sofa bed was not made, and we had to insist on housekeeping coming to set it up. That alone took time we didn’t want to waste after a long journey.
When I went to take a shower, there was no shampoo provided, and we had to call and request it. Even then, it took over 15 minutes — and the shampoo still didn’t arrive.
The worst part? When we opened the shower mat, we found someone else's hair in it. That level of uncleanliness is unacceptable, especially at a hotel that is supposed to be upscale.
This hotel completely failed on the two most basic standards: cleanliness and hospitality. For any price charged, this was a huge disappointment. I cannot recommend staying here and hope management takes this feedback seriously.
