We visit Glenwood Springs every year and always stay at Hotel Colorado. The hotel has its own special feeling due to its history and age, the staff is great and the rooms are comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of all the restaurants and hot springs. You can’t go wrong booking HC.

Loved the hotel and location. Glenwood springs pools are right across the street and an easy 5 minute walk. We chose Glenwood Springs over Iron Mountain because it felt very open and less like Welshly Arms! The peach cobbler in the hotel restaurant was to die for! We stayed in the double queen and there was no vanity in the bathroom. But other than that, it was a nice hotel in a great location

300-500 dollar a night with noisy AC windows ? seriously? All last time that I stayed - the entrance to the hot springs was included. Not worth the money anymore!!!

Somewhat expected that old buildings have issues but our plumbing needed to be addressed just as we walked into the room. Maintenance was quick to respond. Our AC shut off during the night. Love the location and the ease of walking across the bridge into the town for dining and shopping

Back to the hotel Colorado

We appreciate that the hotel now has window unit AC, it was warm during our stay. Also, Ryan Lytrell was very helpful sort out a restaurant bill, and one of the desk clerks, Sola? went out of his way to help us print our boarding passes.

Very happy with our stay although we hoped for some ghostly encounters, we unfortunately did not!! Room was nice and bed was unbelievably comfy. Bathroom was clean but small...hotel is old, so this isn't a complaint simply an observation. AC in window was also likely due to age of hotel, but certainly not a problem. Loved the on-site restaurant...dinner was fabulous and our waiter Jon was quite charming and made great food/wine recommendations. We look forward to staying here again.

Fun to do once, but not sure I'd stay here again.

Its a well-restored hotel with a great classic feel to it. Lots of artifacts around the hotel from earlier times. Would have given it 5 stars overall but the front desk staff, although professional, were not very friendly and seemed like they were just doing what was required of them and nothing more.
