This is a boutique hotel. We had a beautifully decorated room with great view. Very good breakfast. If you want something different from one of the standard hotels, this is a good choice.
This hotel is a fantastic venue for exploring the city of Gdansk. It is a clean, well decorated hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel and plan to stay again next year.
Staff exceptional, thoughtful, anticipating every need. Building location appearance and history makes an awesome impression, inside and out. The room its decor, layout, view, amenities left us with a sense of luxury unsurpassed. If ever returning it will be our first choice. Exceptional
Hotel Podewils exceeded my expectations. I absolutely loved my stay there--everything about my stay was perfect; It was quiet, the staff were amazing and attentive, the breakfast was outstanding, and the room was kept cool (in summer) by a nice little ac unit. The beautiful old Manor House was tastefully and thoughtfully renovated for comfort and style. And with only 9 rooms, they really focus on each individual needs. I will definitely be back.
Great location in the old town, it is quiet and near the river. Breakfast was excellent and so was the service. This is a great hotel to stay in for visiting, very near all amenities. I would highly recommend.
Lovely boutique hotel in urgent need to upgrade the plumbing ; faucet hard to turn on/ off, toilet flush frequently “stuck” with water running / dripping constantly . A coffee packets supplied were sealed the way, with the message “ do not open”…..
an outstanding property. boutique hotel, only 10 rooms, but superior quality. wonderful breakfast buffet and hot food options. building constructed around 1730, so historically it is wonderful. rooms are furnished with beautiful antiques. lobby is cozy and attractive. staff are pleasant and helpful. great location with river/canal views, and quiet. convenient walking to restaurants and historic sites. this hotel is a gem in all ways, and not to be missed.
Nice, climatic, quiet and cosy stay. Perfect location in the old town. Interesting place with the history.

The hotel is a charming, storied old lady, very much in need of rehabilitation. Stabilizing creaky boards, updating and painting would be a good start. Outside of the shabby condition, all was wonderful and we very much enjoyed our stay.
Quiet location short walk away from main town. Staff service was excellent. We asked if we could leave our cases at hotel as arriving early. They had our room feady early. Was also able to provide gluten free food at breakfast. Hotel is not modern in that you have a bathtub instead of a shower but accept that as booking it for it's charming decor. Best staff and service have encountered when traveling
We stayed for one night as family in two rooms with our small dogs, the rooms are nicely decorated in a style fitting the hotel itself, rooms are comfortable and spacious.would recommend to book canal view rooms as they are light and quiet at night time. The cold breakfast selection is small but has everything you would need, with freshly cooked eggs (via preorder) which were tasty. The best thing is staff they are friendly and professional in their manner and made the brief stay very nice. We will definitely return on our next visit to Gdansk, the location is a short walk to the town centre which we found perfect for access by car or foot.
Sadly we were only there overnight as we got caught up in the mass evacuation before lockdown. The staff were fabulous, and really helpful in trying to sort things for us. It was spotlessly clean, and when the virus chaos is over, I would love to return!
Beautiful, historic property, very close to old town, but in a quiet area. Beautiful views across the water to the iconic Gdansk Crane and the cathedral and town hall towers. Very large, airy rooms and marble bathrooms. Perfect place to stay if visiting Gdansk.
Great historic hotel with limited number of rooms and located off the beaten path. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms have the design of a completely different era, retaining old furnitures and decor. If you like modern design, this hotel is probably not for you.
