The Dorset was great. It’s adjacent to casino for 1/2 price and so much nicer than casino. Rooms and beds very comfortable. Will stay again

Stayed here for a week after a 3 day conference. Dorsett is in broadbeach in walking distance to main strip of dining options . 10 mins walk to pacific fair and connected to the star. Room was great, clean and big enough for 2. Had 2 pools one in the hotel otherin the star which we could use Breakfast was great. Only suggestions would be 1. in the lift for dorsett have 2 swipe panels instead of 1. Its abit much when there are heaps of people entering lift . 2. Hand rail for hand towels in bathrooms of dorsett hotel Highly recommend and i would stay again

Great pool with bar area, easy parking, location to casino, beach and everything you could want. Only downside was the big stain on the bottom sheet of the bed that I found when I went to hop into bed which was after midnight, so had to put something over it so I could still sleep in the bed as I wasn't sure what it was! I told reception upon checkout and showed her a photo I took of the stain so she understood what I was saying. Clearly house keeping didn't care when making up the room because you couldn't miss it! the patch was size of a dinner plate! The receptionist kind of didn't say much apologised and said she wouldn't charge me for the parking due to my inconvenience and as a goodwill gesture. But said nothing more. Then I realise afterwards she still charged me for the parking lol

Luxury escape
Seeing a concert at the Star Theatre and booked a deluxe corner king for the night, excellent experience, in room 115018. Well laid out with a luggage rack built in to the robe (under the luggage rack was drawers unfortunately they're not really usable for unpacking as one contains the room safe and the other the ironing board), good amount of hangers full length mirror and a small hall table complete the foyer of the room (a door indicates this room could be interconnecting). King bed with ample lighting, and the tv cabinet included the small mini fridge and glassware. Our room had views of the hinterland, surprised the curtains were not electronically controlled. If i had to be critical, I'd move the safe to the tv cabinet, integrate the ironing board freeing up drawers for clothes, add a chair (a single armchair/dining room chair could make the hall table into a work desk or dining for one - in room dining was an option but i won't eat in bed). Parking was fine, the website provided a suggestion as to where to best park to directly access the hotel, the signage within the car park is awful, and even determining the right carpark to enter could be easier, the signage even to exit the carpark is woeful. Hotel guests receive parking at $20/night which is reasonable (casino casual rates are astronomical). Interactions with staff were professional & accommodating. Checking in and out was seamless. Pool looked inviting, proximity to casino was appreciated, will return

A bit confusing knowing where the hotel s situated. Check-in was fast and friendly. the tv took ages to work out how to use it and I had to phone about accessing the internet, it soon came on after I rang front desk. Funny that tea & coffee was replaced, rubbish removed and fresh towel but beds were left as we left them unmade. No printed information on how to use lights and TV
