Great hotel minus the following issues: I was asked to pay for my stay on the night I arrived, despite having prepaid. The reception was very close to charging me twice until I showed her my own records. Also, why did I have to pay a full room fee when it turned out the balcony my for my room was not useable? People come to the GC for the balcony views!

Room was very nice, staff were helpful and breakfast was tasty. We were advised one restaurant was closed for renovations, only after booking, that was good to know in advance though. What we weren't told, was that no one was allowed to access their balcony, due to renovations. I might not have booked a deluxe ocean view room had I known we wouldn't have a balcony. Also a small disappointment, but a bit of a let down nonetheless, was that the room wasn't stocked with the Kevin Murphy haircare as advertised to complement the Dyson hairdryer. Overall, it was a nice stay, but very expensive considering we didn't get the full experience that was advertised.

We love the vibe of QT hotels. Every thing was to our liking. The breakfasts were the best ever. Sadly for all guests and staff, the current maintenance program ( unknown to us at time of booking) prevented use of the pool we were offered several alternatives at adjoining properties, But more,importantly, having no access to our deck affected us most. Thank s to the amazing staff.

Pool and Balcony were closed and not usable. Were advised of this a week prior to arrival, it was noted a neighbouring properties pool would be available to use. This turned out to be 1/2 a km away. No outdoor space to sit. Had this been made clearer earlier we would have changed accomodation. Not on really.

The staff went above and beyond for my night there for my 40th birthday the ocean room was amazing and hands down the best buffet breakfast I have ever had I would highly recommend QT for your stay on the Gold coast

Fabulous, stylish property. Fantastic rooms, great splash of colour, comfy beds and high-quality linen. Amazing breakfast and well-stocked bar. Only downside was the pool and room balconies were closed for repairs. Agreements were made with 'neigbouring' hotels to use their pools but none of these were very close. Vibe was the closest but tried 3 separate times to get a park but could not. A shuttle was provided by the hotel but this was only between 10-4. The hotel did advise of the unavailability of these facilities prior to the stay and some compensation was given however, it did mean we didn't get to swim during our stay, which was important to our family.

Unfortunately the pool wasn’t available and we couldn’t open the doors onto the balcony. The staff went out of their way to compensate for this and included breakfast and some drinks. My lower rating was due to the shower. It was basic with low pressure on a hose (many hotels have this and a fixed shower with good pressure). For the price bracket of this hotel, I’d expect better. Whilst it is only 1km to the centre, there are no cafes close by. The cafe inside the hotel was nice with good service.
