Positives: The staff were very professional and I'd rate them as excellent, particularly the front desk staff. They helped us with a travel reservation issue with Alitalia and went above and beyond to help us. When we learned that our booking wasn't what we thought we booked (turns out it was our booking mistake, not the hotels), they were willing to give us a lower rate deal for the 2nd room. Also, when we had to cut our stay short by a night because of our travel issue with Alitalia, they were willing to effectively give us a credit through our ancillary charges. Gabriella and her staff were very good! The hotel is well kept, in a good location (5 min walk to the beach), has a nice pool, rooms were clean and nice, but small. The A/C was a bonus as it was hot when we were there.
Areas for improvement: The hotel is a bit "dated" and could definitely use updating. Dinner at the "on premises" restaurant was mediocre at best and was of a lesser quality and offering than were were expecting. For the value, it wasn't a bad option for us.
