Room smelled like mold and was very damp. The smell was so strong I had a hard time sleeping.
Bathroom was not cleaned well.
2inch centipede came out from under my child’s pillow. Front desk staff was helpful when I brought up our concerns and moved us to a clean room but the smell of mold and dampness was also in that room.
Immediately upon opening the door of the room we were hit with a strong odor of mold/must/pet urine. I went next door and checked on my aunt and her room also smelled. Being that it was close to midnight we sucked it up. As I went to my vehicle to get some items the front desk manager William asked how things were. I told him “well besides the horrible smell all was good”. He immediately said “noted, all the rooms on the first floor are like that, we have moisture issues and the owners don’t want to spend the money to resolve it. But I have a spray that I can spray and once it settles it should mitigate your issues.” He also advised that the 2nd floor doesn’t have those issues but due to a softball team being there he couldn’t move us. The hallway had a dehumidifier and the carpets were stained not only in our room but the hallways as well.
Nothing made the room better and the room and HVAC are definitely not up to Hilton Standards. There was visible dirt/mold growth on the AC unit, bubbled up ceiling and stains from moisture and peeling paint. There was also a crack in the ceiling and mold in the bathroom. The mattress always felt moist.
The rooms had a SEVERE humidity problem. They were always damp and musty, carpets were dirty, and there was a constant musty smell. The front desk personnel was rude and unprofessional, apathetic at best. Don't live up to the Hampton Inn name that many of us have come to love.
I booked the room at Hampton inn because I have never had a bad stay at a Hampton inn before. It’s a Hilton brand so I figured, how can I go wrong. Well I did this time. This place felt like a red roof inn. Room was smelly and musty and carpet was damp. The toilet was so loud that it sounded like a jet engine after flushing. The lady at the front desk was great. She was pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. She moved our room to the 2nd floor which was better. Rooms are still just outdated and not very nice. I should have went with a Marriott hotel like i usually do as they are always consistent.
The location is great. The property is right off 95 and near shopping 🛍 and restaurants.
The staff were friendly, warm and welcoming.
My issue is that my room was not clean. I was there gor 4 nights. The property states that your room will be cleared every other day. My room was not clean. Also the room had a musty, moldy odor. The carpet needs to be replaced.

Was an overnite stay traveling south on 95. Soon as we walked in and saw the extremely dirty welcome carpets I knew it wasn’t going to be good. That’s a first impression when checking in. The room looked clean but extremely humid from the AC unit, even towels in the bathroom seemed gross. Hair in tub and on sink area, total turn off. Worst was 2 dirty towels on the hook behind the bathroom door. So not up to Hampton Inn or Hilton standards. Have stayed on other Hampton Inns with no issues. Hotel needs updating for sure.
The staff, especially the night manager Mellisa went out of
their way to help me when i needed a wheel chair during my brief stay. and the day staff helped me and my belongings get back into my car!
Nice room, clean, good breakfast. The big surprise was a $5/day parking fee! Obviously $5 is a pittance, but it was the principle.
Can get the same accommodations elsewhere w/out paying for parking.
