Everything needed to enjoy the stay was provided! We appreciated being able to detach and the space was perfect! While the weather didn't allow for great night sky viewing, the fireplace was the perfect ambiance to enjoy. We would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave your beautiful coziness of this little nook of the earth. This was our first time in the area and I have to say the local establishments and its patrons were a true breath of fresh air. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. We thank you for the hospitality and look forward to returning (hopefully for a longer stay next time. Thanks again!

Nice but disappointed by location
It said off the grid, fishing, hiking. Off the grid to us was no neighbors. There is a cornfield in front and the farmer was working in the field. The other side of the tree line is a home. There is another field to the left. Behind it is the house you pass coming down the lane. There was 2 women riding 4 x 4 right along the property line watching us as they road by in the field. We thought there would b a stream for fishing and hiking paths. There were no such things. If you want to do any of that you need to get in your car and drive to Huntington which is approximately 60 miles away. We wanted to stay in one place and have all that there. The cabin was very clean and beautiful and our fur babies loved it there. It was very nice but also disappointing by the location.

Perfect getaway
We were able to completely unplug, relax, and enjoy nature. We love being outdoors and enjoy nature. This was the perfect place. The cabin is beautiful and very well maintained. The property is so peaceful and enjoyable. We truly appreciated the peace and the quiet. Made a lovely fire, grilled our dinner, enjoyed eating outside and playing board games out on the wonderful porch all evening. Will be sure to visit again!

Beautiful location
We stayed 5 nights and had a great time. We particularly enjoyed the huge deck and hammocks. Gorgeous views in the morning. The inside was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and games to play. Well stocked kitchen had everything we needed. We did bring bottled water for drinking on the hosts suggestion. My kiddos are into ghosts and were disappointed that the cabin was NOT haunted haha. Overall wonderful stay and would stay again and highly recommend to others.

The good is a fantastic way to unwind. The bad is sulfur smell in the water. Take drinking water. The mater bed room bed was to small for me I’m 6-6 tall We enjoyed the home. Only 20 minutes away from Raystown lake

Amazing Deck
Annie was really helpful and very available. The cabin was built really well - we loved the deck the most! The deck has a beautiful stone fireplace, and looks out on Jack's Mountain. Hammocks, wood rockers, picnic table and great firewood is provided. Had a great time playing corn hole, too! We took a ride up to Alan Seeger Natural area to see the virgin timber - beautiful area! Another day - headed over to Raystown lake and went on a tour of the lake on the Proud Mary. Also, rode our e-bikes on the Rothrock State Forest gravel roads.

A little mishap with the key, but Annie was on the ball to get a spare key there. Our second visit here and it did not disappoint! Everything was clean. We saw deer in the evening. The pups had a blast running in the yard. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Relaxing Retreat
Grandparents took two teens to unplug for 3 nights. No TV so it was a change from their norm but we had a wonderful time. We played more board games than we have in years. Corn hole was fun and of course Harshbargers for ice cream. The cabin is complete with everything you could possibly need
