Compare Ski Hotels in Government Camp

Really enjoyed only being 19 minutes from Mt. Hood Meadows. Less time driving, more time on the mountain.

This was a very comfortable place to stay with easy access to Ski Bowl at night for tubing and short drive to Meadows for midday skiing. We appreciated having so many bedrooms as well as good communal space for playing games

I liked the cabin charm of this house it it’s right in the middle of government camp. You can drive right up to the door to drop off/pick up which is very convenient. It was also easy to keep warm and the wood stove was a nice amenity. We enjoyed the charm of this place. The cabin is very small which is cozy, but hard to imagine more than 4 people using the living area—even that was a tight squeeze — so unclear how the occupancy of 6 makes sense. There was a key to a “wood box” that we were not able to find. Parking is extremely confusing: street parking is close by and was easy to find a spot, sno-park pass also makes sense, but signs on street have very specific no-parking hours and it’s unclear what to do during those times—should be much more clear about this in the listing. Fortunately we didn’t have an issue despite the fact we were parked during no-parking hours.

Perfect location to walk to fun snow play. Perfect accommodations and amenities to cozy up and get warm. Play all day, dry your gear by the fire, relax in the hot tub while the kids game upstairs, rinse and repeat. Can't wait to stay again.
