It is a pretty old building. It is not as clean as it should. For the price sometimes is a bit expensive compared to newer buildings.

The property is a little dated, but the staff was great, the restaurant and bar area were clean and had all we needed. We had an issue with a light and without a doubt, the response was outstanding. We had someone in the room to fix it within 10 minutes and was repaired within 20. It was an amazing service recovery. Again, I cannot say enough that the staff at the restaurant, bar and desk were all outstanding!!! Thanks for a great visit.

It’s hard to find an affordable hotel near the Grand Canyon and this achieved that main goal for me. It doesn’t have the amenities that other hotels have (poor internet and TV services, bad lighting in the rooms) and probably hasn’t been updated since it was built but as long as expectations are appropriate, this hotel achieves its purpose.

Our room (My son and I) was across the street in the annex building. We had the Jonny Cash room. From the outside it looked worn and rugged and the stair rails need some repair (2nd floor). Once inside however the room was exceptionally clean, old school vigas/wood/adobe motif. TV had some issues but we got it straightened out. Hot water was instant and never faltered, beds were comfy, and it was quiet. The restaurant in the main building was decent and the service was really good. It is an out of the way location with no other lodging within 30 miles effectively. The Hotels.com website list it in Williams, however it is 30 miles north in Valle. All in all a decent experience for a two night stay with my young son. There is a Flintstones/Bed Rock attraction right next door. A bit cheesy but fun watching my little guy enjoy it. Fred's diner is pretty good too!

This was a nice place to stay for a local facility. The rooms were clean and spacious. We ate at the restaurant that evening. It was very good both food and service. A little pricey but I guess you expect that.

I have never given a poor review and I’ll just briefly summarize. No cold water in our room with either faucet, toilet leaked all night long, smoke alarm started going off and had to unplug. Large stain in room with odor from the carpet. Tv remote did not work and tv had 4 working channels. Tile in entry loose. Bed uncomfortable and linens had odor of cleaning chemicals. I’m not one to give a poor review but it has to be said.

To begin, the girl at the front desk seemed not to want be there. She explained very little and quickly got rid of us. When we got to the room we quickly noticed one of our beds had a boxspring that had no cover on it. So it was just metal. Secondly there was no remote for the tv. We couldn't contact reception because there was no phone in the room. 3rd we noticed the room seamed like they were in a hurry to updated but left some things not finished. There was exposed plaster and as well as some tiles were missing. When went accross the street to the main inn we spoke to the receptionist about the remote missing and all she told us, was she would have a maintenence staff member go out to help us. While we were at the bar, we noticed someone showed up and left a bag with tv remotes at the counter. The receptionist and I made eye contact but not once did she come over to say that they had a remote for us. We booked the room for 2 nights and not once did they make contact with us about the remotes. It was definitely a rough stay and will not be staying there again.

Due to a last minute change of itinerary, I have to rebook this place as it is the closest to the Grand Canyon. So expensive to be in an old dusty motel on the opposite side of the main highway

Nice find
Very surprising diamond about 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon. Gas station and gift shop in the same parking lot. Room furniture was beautiful log designs. Bed was fairly comfort with really good pillows. Tub was well used, but clean.
