We searched for lodging near the NORTH rim of the grand canyon, description said the hotel was 16 miles from the NORTH rim, but actually it is in the village near the SOUTH rim. MAYBE if you have one of the new flying cars it's 16 miles to the NORTH rim but if you are restricted to travel on roads, like most of us, it's a 4 1/2 HOUR drive to the NORTH rim, then 4 1/2 hour drive back to the hotel. We had to MISS seeing the NORTH rim because of this inaccuracy. Very dissapointed.

Great stay for reasonable price!!
It served our overnight purposes well. We were staying just briefly and it was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and we had coffee early in the morning. There is an amazing Mexican restaurant right next door. Honestly one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at.

Too expensive
For over $200 per night, the room was musty, the window faced a wall and the A/C ran continuously. The good stuff: the mattress and pillows were comfortable, the room/bathroom were clean, the water was hot, and there was a seat in the shower stall.

Front desk staff were very professional and helpful. Immediately responded to a concern that I had as well as provided friendly information on the resources in the area. Front desk was adequately staffed for a busy place. Deducted a star for not having breakfast in an area with very poor dining choices.

We stayed 2 nights. Extremely convenient for visiting the Grand Canyon south rim. The lodge is large but quiet and very well equipped. We had a room out the back which was enormous with 2 queen beds. Many dining options within walking distance including one on the property footprint. Grocery store and gas station very close by. Thoroughly recommend.

This hotel advertised our room as a budget motel room but it was so much more than that so we were pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend for a great stay at the canyon!

Very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Easy parking, great location 5 miles south of the west entrance to Grand Canyon park. Numerous good restaurants within easy walking distance. Elk wander around on the edges of the woods around the town. The room was very comfortable, with lots of amenities, and the cleaning service was thorough. I would definitely stay here again.
