Other attractions and activities...

2. There are three lakes near by: Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Grand Lake. Boat rentals are available at Indian Peaks Marina and in the town of Grand Lake.
3. Whitewater rafting is available in Kremmling (37 miles away): Mad Adventures, 970-726-5290.
4. ATV rentals at Spirit Lake Motor Sports is .3 miles from the house. Make sure to ask about National Forest access information and other trail systems - there are hundreds of miles of trails in Arapaho National forest.
5. Adams Falls is a great family hike located in Grand Lake on the far east side of the lake.
6. The Northern Colorado Water District canal is across highway 34 and just a 5 minute walk from the house - you will see a bridge across the highway. Trails are on either side of the bridge and on either side of the canal. To the left of the bridge is lower and upper trails for biking or hiking. Fishing is allowed in the canal.
7. Pine Beach is 1.5 miles North off of Highway 34 on the right. There are hiking trails, picnic tables, grills and fishing. This is also our favorite spot to play on our canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards because the waters are shallow and the boats can't access this area. Watch out for moose, though - a mother moose and baby is one of the most dangerous animals to interact with in Colorado.
8. Golfing - Enjoy a round of high altitude golf. There are 4 golf courses in Grand County.
Caution: There are commonly moose that travel and visit the yard. Please, do not approach any moose - they can be very dangerous. But, we have large windows throughout the house that allow you to safely view wildlife from the comfort of the home.
