I was very disappointed with the stay, right from the start we had to call maintenance to repair the TV in the mains room. Followed by the at it was obvious that little to no care had been taken to prepare the room, gummier(made of what I don’t know, open capsule of something lying beside the couch, plastic bag, bottle caps under the coffee table and a loose screw and something that looked like steel wool. All within reach of my dog who I had to pry one of the “gummies” from his mouth. Moving into the bedroom there is no storage for clothes no hangers in the closet, gave a new meaning to living out of a suitcase. The bathroom however is very large, enough to put a bed into however not functional and the “toilet” room light was intermittent and when it did it flickered enough to give you a stroke… I understand I could have called the front desk but having already called them once figured the guy might as well camped outside our door. The back entrance door has no key lock and the locals could easily come right into the hotel and onto the elevator, they seemed harmless but were very brazen to enter at will.. On booking the room, I choose it for size, location and the fact it had a breakfast and a restaurant was attached… no mention that their may or may not be open of which the breakfast was open for 2 of the 4 mornings and the restaurant was closed. Very disappointed in what used to be one of Grande Prairies nicer facilities..

It was perfect. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were beyond comfortable. The couch was also super comfortable. We always love staying at this hotel and enjoy the very hospitable and sweet staff. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

We checked in later in the day but only found out at check in that the breakfast services were not available. One of the reasons for our stay was for for socializing as a family and there was no space available for this. I feel that this should’ve been communicated to us before the day of our stay or a discount offered because of the missing services. Also, one of the two rooms booked didn’t have a functioning bathroom.
