Bennett House Beautiful New Oceanfront Home with new pool

The Bennett House is the ideal vacation home. It is a complete new build since Dorian in 2019.

We are directly on the beach .The view from the screened back porch is breathtaking. Very private location and quiet beach.

This is a privately owned home and sleeps 8 comfortably.

There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.On the first floor is the living area with den, dining room, fully furnished kitchen,1 bedroom (with a king size bed) and full bath with shower.The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms, all king beds, 2 full bathrooms and laundry room.

The house has all the comforts of 'home'. We have split a/c units in every bedroom and 1 split unit downstairs in the living area.
We also have whole house automatic backup generator installed and working for your comfort in case the power is interrupted.
We have Wireless Internet but please bring your own laptop.
We have 3 outdoor only security cameras.
There is a 70’ inch tv in the living area and 4 TVs in bedrooms for streaming.
We have both, a cistern for water and city water for your convenience .

All linens/beach towels/hair dryers are furnished.

We have a decked outdoor kitchen with top of the line stainless steel grill, tile countertop and the best view ever.

You can snorkel, swim, lobster or fish out the back door! Right behind the house are some of the most beautiful coral reefs in the world. We have a walk in outdoor shower. There is a paddle board on the deck for guests.

You will love our screened back porch where we have 3 rockers and a table with 6 chairs for outside dining or simply relaxing and listening to the waves.


We are on the oceanside of the island and sit on the beach of the Atlantic Ocean.We are perfectly located in the middle of the island.By golf cart it is a 10 min. ride to town (New Plymouth) or 10 minute ride in the other direction to the Green Turtle Club and Marina.

Nothing but white sand.....bring your snorkel and fins and enjoy!

Green Turtle has markets, restaurants,liquor store and gift shops. The island is only 4 miles long and fun to explore by golf cart.

If you rent a boat there is a public dock on the Sea of Abaco.It is a 2 min. golf cart ride from the house.

You can reach Green Turtle Cay by a 1 hour flight from W. Palm, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami or Tampa and Orlando 1.5 hours flight.You fly into Treasure Cay,catch a cab to the Ferry Dock(5 Min. ride)or into Marsh Harbor and ride to Green Turtle by ferry boat which runs every hour.


The Ferry will drop you off at the Benson dock where you can get your rented golf cart and you are met by our caretaker who will get you to the house and answer any of your questions and also check on you during your stay.

We know you will love it as much as we do!

Wonderful Home
My husband and I stayed for 5 days during the offseason and Bennett House was a sanctuary of comfort and relaxation. The house is decorated very nicely especially of note to us was the local Bahamian bathmats and the beautiful handmade quilts. We cooked breakfast each morning in the kitchen and I was impressed with the selection of kitchen items there; by far the best of any rental house I’ve been to. The back patio is the best place to read, stargaze, and enjoy the rocking chairs while watching the sunrise. Outside there is a grill and outdoor shower. I also appreciate the water filtration on the countertop. We had bought a few gallons of water but being able to use the filtration saved us from having to buy more. The icing on the cake was getting to meet and spend time with Ruth who cares for the home. Her warm, friendly spirit welcomed us. She generously took time to personally join us for a cart ride around town to help orient us and point out all the items of note. She made an effort to key us into local landmarks to assist us learning our way around. The next day she found us at Sundowners where we came to watch the sunset. She stayed to chat with us inquiring about our trip and offering her insight and suggestions around the island. As most places (stores and restaurants) were closed for vacation she made sure we knew where we could get dinner each night. We will be back to Bennett House! It is a lovely place with lovely owners and caretakers.

We came back to this house specifically because stayed before and loved it. It’s even more perfect now. is a beautiful house with everything you need for a fabulous vacation in the Bahamas. Perfect screened patio with gorgeous view of beach and ocean, kitchen with everything a cook could want, perfectly furnished and bedrooms with comfy beds! Easy access right on ocean beach.

This was our second time to Green Turtle. We really enjoyed the Bennett House. We had 2 families, 7 people in total and had ample space. Ruth was fantastic, as was the location. The house is very clean, well provisioned and the view could not be better.

Great place for a relaxing vacation on the beach and close to town
This place is beautifully decorated and has everything you need to be comfortable . The back of property has a wonderful view of the beach where rarely another person was seen. This is a great place to relax and about 8 minutes from town with a golf cart. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family enjoyed our time at the house. The views, balcony, and access to the beach were perfect for us. The house was very well-supplied, and the owner communicated throughout and was helpful, as was the housekeeper. Great place for a family who wants something more low-key.

Exceeded expectations
Three generations for Thanksgiving week. We loved everything and everyone. Wanda was so helpful. She provided us with detailed information that made our arrivals and departure smooth. Ruth visited us to make sure that everything was good. If I must make a negative comment The Mr. Coffee was slow and we cured by putting a can on top. I wish my home was furnished like Wanda’s.

The perfect rental!
The Bennett House is perfectly located and well-stocked with everything you need for your vacation on Green Turtle Cay! This is our second trip to the island (first post-Dorian) and we are equally as in love with it as before. The house is right on the ocean and the view is unbeatable. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home, and the grill was a breeze to use. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Home
The home is beautiful. All items to be convenient away from home were available. Keurig, regular coffee maker, air fryer, and grill. Weather made boat days a challenge but could still get the kids in to snorkel between weather issues as placed in a great area. Homemade quilts made it so homey. Love GTC and never stayed here but will definitely return to this home in the future.

We were the first to stay in the new Bennett house, which is a complete ground up new build since hurricane Dorian. They were six of us,. We only used three of the four bedrooms, and still the house was super economical. We needed nothing, everything was supplied, and the house is very comfortable and efficiently designed. it is spotlessly clean. This owner has worked hard to make Bennett house a great vacation spot. This oceanfront location is central to both ends of the island, and nothing is more than five or six minutes away on a golf cart. Carol Jean, the house manager, is super attentive and responds instantly to any question or request. She found rental boats and golf carts when we couldn’t and helped us with countless questions. The island seems to be very well recovered. Restaurants are plentiful, grocery shelves are well-stocked, sunset bars are ready to serve you. I couldn’t recommend a vacation spot more highly. Thanks Wanda!

I absolutely love this house, location and decorations.
Everything was perfect. My only negative is the ocean itself at this time of year, I got over 500 bites from sea lice (baby jellyfish) and had to go to the nurse to get shots. You cannot walk directly into the ocean from the house as it is a little rocky, but just walk down the beach and your in the water. BRING OFF.
