The heat in the room was not working, we stood without heat throughout our stay and the phone in the room was also non-functional. We contacted the front desk, and someone was sent to check the heat; however, the issue was not resolved. The maintance person mentioned they would follow up with us, but we have not received any further updates.

Wonderful stay for a few days. The hotel was so clean and nice. All the staff was also so wonderful and nice. Definitely will stay here again and great location downtown to everything.

Our room was amazing and very spacious. Super clean and cozy. We had one issue of a TV not working, but staff was on it within minutes and fixed a remote and all worked well. I attempted to cancel and get a refund on my booking the day before my stay because of a major family emergency, but the management refused because of their policy of the late date. Hotels.com attempted to negotiate on my behalf which I greatly appreciated, but they offered no compassion and no flexibility. I understand the policy under normal circumstances, but there are exceptions that local management should be able to make in extreme cases, and it didn't get much more extreme than mine. A simple refund would have kept me a customer, with my appreciation (and a good review), but I will no longer consider Homewood Suites when I travel.
