There indoor pool was not working which is the only reason we picked this hotel we asked to be transferred to their other location they said the pool will be fixed in the morning that would not be necessary. The next day they offered a free pizza like that would fix anything, again not letting us transfer, also asked for a refund so we could go next door since their pool was working they refused. Also our room was not very clean, the kids play room was closed and locked the whole time. One staff member was so high he could not even talk straight.

My view of the beach was obstructed by trees and they would not relocate us. We had to turn on the shower and sink for 10 mins for hot water. Called maintenance twice and they confirmed this was the on ly way for us to have hot water. The restaurant food was not good at all ,however, the servers were very nice. The front staff was very unfriendly. The beds were hard as bricks. The carpet in fron of hvac was very wet due to a leak from hvac system. Over priced and under delivered.

My monthly visit in Virginia

Front desk service was great. Responsive, friendly and caring. The room was unclean, there was a clump of hair stuffed in the groove and in between where the shower door meets the shower frame. It was disgusting. I had to get up in the middle of the night and wiggle the handle on the toilet, because it ran non stop. The heater is loud and also woke me up several times throughout the night. I pick hotels because my husband wants a pool and hot tub, well neother was functional, except the outside pool which it was to cold to use and seemed to have a film on the top of the water. They were giving pizza on lieu of the pool noz working which i didnt want the pizza, so the waived the parking, which again helped my rating some, since the customer service was responsive. I will not stay at this hotel again.

1.had to book another hotel for my additional guest because the Sofa sleeper bed was disgusting. (Sofa appeared to extremely dated and well used. Needs to be burned ASAP. An unhoused individual would not lay on it even if were to be given to them) 2. Suite area smelled like a sewer and like something had crawled in it and died. 3. One of the elevators on the far end side did not work but there was no signage stating that. Waited 2 minutes before realizing that the doors only opened & closed. 4. Air conditioning did not work in the hallways on the far end side it was like a sauna and it only cause the sewerage smell to build. 5. Mold and mildew was so bad that it triggered my asthma and I had to go to my car and get my inhaler in order to breathe. 6. Since I booked with a third party. I was only offered a free breakfast for to compensate for the inconvenience of having to book another hotel because it was not safe for my extra guests to sleep in the suite area. 7. I requested a partial refund because, We utilized the bedroom portion (which was on bar, clean &updated)however, we were unable to use the suite portion because of the aforementioned issues& should not have been charged for the difference of the standard room and the suite pricing. Expedia and hotel both refused to issue a refund, stated that the other party had to approve it but adamantly denied being the responsible party to approve the partial refund. Extremely disappointed with the customer service.

Check in and out was a breeze however upon check in I was not informed of the in house movies or the kids play area or the indoor pool I had to find out those things myself. Also only 2 outlets worked for plug ins and the shower door was broken but the water pressure was nice.

Excellent place to stay. Was also clean. Kids enjoyed the pool. Within walking distance to everything and parking was easy. 7-eleven across the street. There is a theater that plays movies on certain nights as well.

I think this hotel is over-rated. It needs a major update, the furniture and appearances are very outdated. The Bathroom sink faucet was broken, old carpet. The desk chair was wobbled, uneven. The furniture is very uncomfortable. They charge additional for breakfast and parking and there was not enough Parking either. There were ducks in the swimming pool too! If you're an IHG Member and you expect quality, forget it!

My heater did put out heat but it was not blowing through the room. I can say after the 2nd call to the front desk someone come to check my heater and finally bring another blanket several hours later. The dresser and other furniture was cold to the touch. Thats how cold the room was and it didn't help that the temperature was 50 to 60 degrees my first to days there and windy I had to ask for an upgrade for the inconvenience. The up graded room needs some repairs. Rust on the shower rack and on the bathroom door. If you can't replace it please paint it or something. The rooms were not cleaned like they should be. Tables in the living area were not cleaned from the last person who stayed. I didn't like that the hot tub was in the same location as the kids pool. I did love the ocean view room that I asked to be upgraded to.

The hotel is dated and due for a renovation. The two elevators was slow and damage from being used was showing. The view from the rooms are great. The rooms however could use some TLC the wallpaper on the walls are starting to separate. Stains were on the sheets and towels. The lazy river was nice. However while we were in the pool area a child fell and hit his head. It took cleaning staff several hours and at least two people one being myself to tell them to came remove the bloody towels( used from the incident) that was on the side of the hot tub.
