The property was beautiful especially outside but the room we had the celiing was falling apart an onto the floor, I never had any one clean or come get towels or sheets. Other than that the pools were amazing the kids absolutely loved the stay. Rooms could use to upgrade and the elevators were extremely slow running. Staff was very friendly.

The room was fine. Bed was comfortable. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast buffet was very good. Restaurant next to the pool is good. The Wi-fi was not very stable. I could not get on the Wi-fi while sitting next to the pool. Signal was weak at times. The fire door was either locked or so stuck that it could not be opened.

Our stay was pretty bad. Our room was only lightly cleaned one day out of 4. Had to call for clean towels, gathered our own garbage. The pool was full of sand. The front desk girls were nice. Never ever return.

The building definitely needs some work and updated but over all was a good stay . If you have kids this is the ONLY place worth staying !!!!!!!!!

Arrived around 2pm as sometimes the room is ready. We were told that it wasn't and to check back later. We checked at 3pm and was told that it still wasn't ready and to check back at 4pm. We checked back at 4pm and it still wasn't ready. Eventually around 5.30 we were told that it was ready. We transported the luggage from across the street to the hotel. When we entered the room it smelled like it hadn't been used for a while and had that musky smell. We noticed that the ac was blowing warm air and not cooling the room down. I told the front desk and they sent someone to fix it. The guy couldn't fix it and said that he would tell the front desk to move us to another room, he also made the ac blow cold air all the time. The front desk told me that they were fully booked and we would change rooms the next day. That night we were absolutely freezing as the ac was on all the time and there was no way to switch it off.

We stayed at this property six years ago and then recently in August 2025. It’s a great location, near the king Neptune statue. Very quiet on the north end of the strip, which is why we stay there. The downfall of this property is the condition. They haven’t done any renovations since we were there last so I hope that’s in the future for this place. The pool is nice. The outdoor bar is good enough for lunch. Drinks are a little expensive but everything in Virginia Beach is like that. I don’t like that we had to pay for parking, which is normally free at every Holiday Inn. The beds are comfortable. Overall, we had a good day.

I loved the convenience of where the property is located on 39th St. Beautiful location, staff was friendly and helpful, and just nice to wake up to the ocean breeze. If you are looking for a kid-friendly place, this is it. It seems to cater to families with young children. Price wasn't bad either for a quick summer getaway!

Room was fine. Bed was very comfortable, and shower was fantastic. We used the sofa bed, so that made things a bit tight. We needed for nothing. The Blue Whale restaurant was just ok. However, Isle of Capri restaurant is 5 stars. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, this isn’t it, BUT it’s clean, it’s almost at the end/beginning of the strip, so the beach isn’t as flooded with people like further up. Plenty of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. There are 3 pools to satisfy most age groups. The hotel needs a big update, but we would definitely stay there again

My room smells like wet and mold. The railings on the balcony do not feel secure and safe. The description says beach towels and beach chairs but there are none available to take out. The place where you can rent them does not allow them in front of the hotel beach area. The pools are super dirty and have not been cleaned. Light fixtures in the pool were floating not safe to swim in when I spoke to members including property management they had no words no one knew anything horrible service.

The location of the room was good, we were on the second floor and had a beautiful ocean view. We were in the small tower, so it was a little bit of a hike to go to the front desk. One thing I did not like was that after spending almost $700 to stay there for two nights, I had to walk across the street to a 7-Eleven for coffee. It should be available for purchase. Overall, the day was good, very nice and helpful employees, I would stay there again, but for a lesser price.

The rooms are very outdated. The cleanliness of the rooms was poor when it came to curtains, doors, walls, and floors. Our refrigerator would not stay shut and I asked twice for it to be fixed and nothing was done.

The popcorn ceiling was literally falling all over us and the room the entire time. They needed to come and vacuum the room multiple times. Management did not care at all! The sink nozzle fell off and took forever to fix. Parking is horrible as there are not enough spaces then you need to go into another lot by 7-11. Air conditioning is mediocre at best. the only thing the place has going for it is the beach is right there, and the pools are nice. For the amount of money, they charge they really need to upgrade their facilities

The suite was stayed in was dirty and smelled like mildew. They promised to change our room the next morning but never did. No one came to clean the room or disinfectant. It was horrible. Winston tried communicating his best but it was much effort showed or received. I will not be staying here again. It’s not worth the money you pay for such poor service. I complained everyday, not results. Horrible 3 days. Ended leaving early because of the smell in the room. Would recommend
