We stayed here previously and the hotel declined in cleanliness and amenities. Hotutb was out of service, all pools including indoor was ice cold so they were empty.

We have stayed at this property a hundred times. This time was bad. Girl at front desk acted like she had better things to do than help anyone. Outdoor Pools were too cold. Elevators took a long time. Tried to eat at square whale and 4 employees stood there for 10 minutes at least before coming to get our drinks so we left. Also being a IHG member there are no benefits at this hotel. Not what it used to be when the turtles were there.

First time staying in VA beach as a family. The hotel staff was very accommodating and brought us a crib to the room and let us check in early. We greatly enjoyed the pools, both indoor and outdoor. The kids corner had activities and there was a movie showing in the hotel theater. Free popcorn was continuously popping during the movie. We had a great stay and will look into rebooking next vacation season.

The location was great and we liked the choices of pool and the movie theatre. Our room smelled musty and the lowest we could get the room temp to be was 76 (even with the AC set to 72). The hotel could use an update. It was a short stay of 2 nights so it was worth it for the short stay.

We enjoyed our stay with 2 children at the holiday inn the kids loved it! The pools were nice and clean and rooms were clean and nice!

It was alright, the options for the 3 pools was nice, however all the days my family and I was there, only one front desk person was an absolute sweetheart, one security person constantly checked in and didn't just ignore, and 1 'cleaner' guy went above and beyond, as far as stopping his cart of laundry of towels to grab my cart filled with groceries and pushing it into the room for me and helping to unload it. I attempted to take my daughter into the playroom and the girl was very rude, her and the guy that was in there was swearing, and too busy on their phones and play fighting and guy pulling on chicks hair, just things that should not be done in a childs play room. then I'm seeing today, I've got all kinds of extra charges on my bank account from this hotel and I paid for our room MONTHS ago & we've caused no damages. We even had to run to front desk and have the lady come to our room with security because the room filled up with smoke and something was burning and the AC unit stopped working (the staff @ hotel did say it was the ac unit that caused all that) anyway that happened around 1130ish pm, and the front receptionist asked if we wanted to stay in the room, I said if I didn't have 6 of us to worry about including severe sleep apnea,asthma, copdtthyy to
