Refuge Ranch Lodge is the ideal location to find your zen. Cozy up to the wood-burning stove, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, or sit on the porch and unwind while you enjoy nature and lake views. Refuge Ranch is perfect place to fish, boat, practice archery, hunt (boar for a fee), view wildlife and MORE!

Located on 53 acres and boasting 2200 square feet of cozy living space, whether you're spending time with family or friends, this log home will make you never want to leave Refuge Ranch.

LIVING ROOM
Start the wood-burning fireplace and sink into the luxurious sofa and chairs after a long adventurous day by watching a movie/show on our 65” TV. We provide access to a cable package. In addition, we have DVDs that you can watch via our DVD player. Unfortunately, streaming services are currently not an option due to the location of the cabin. Yet, WE DO have a high-speed internet connection via fiber optic 1 GB service. It is smoking fast!! Bring your passwords for your Netflix and other subscriptions!

KITCHEN (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
Fully stocked with all of the kitchen necessities you need to prepare a great meal at home. You will find a stovetop, oven, and a full-size refrigerator to fix meals for your group.
+Hot water kettle, Keurig, coffee, tea, sugar, sugar substitutes, and creamer.
+Toaster, Baking Sheets, Blender, Basic Seasonings, and Olive Oil.

DINING ROOM (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
The dining room is fit for your large group! With seating for 6-11, you can enjoy a nice meal while you share laughter over a meal or pull out a few games and have a competitive family/friendly feud. There are three barstools to seat the additional members of your party.

BEDROOM 1 (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
Outfitted with a queen bed, two bedside tables, a ceiling fan, two bedside lamps, a floor lamp, and a closet.

SHARED BATHROOM (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
Equipped with a tub-shower combination and vanity, located directly off the open concept living room and dining room.

BEDROOM 2 (LOCATION 1st FLOOR)
Outfitted with a Full OVER Full bunkbed (separatable upon request), luxury mattresses, ceiling fan, dresser, floor lamp, closet and lake view.

SITTING ROOM
Situated between the dining room and the two bedrooms (on the first floor) is a great place to unwind and read in front of the gas fireplace. If you need additional sleeping space, the leather futon opens into a full-size bed! Perfect place to take work calls or simply relax and focus on YOU. Lake view.

MAIN BEDROOM 3 (LOCATION 2nd FLOOR)
Equipped with a queen-sized canopy bed, luxury mattress, two bedside tables, ceiling fan, wardrobe, walk-in closet, rocking chair, 55" television, and leads to the main bathroom. Step right outside the double swinging doors to drink your coffee/tea on the private balcony with lake view while you lounge in the two chairs provided.

Main Bathroom (LOCATION 2nd FLOOR)
Equipped with two vanities, a vast walk-in shower with two separate heads, and a separate toilet room.

WASHER + DRYER (MAIN FLOOR)
Full laundry room containing the Washer+Dryer and iron/ironing board.

OUTDOOR SEATING
Lots of outdoor spaces to observe the wildlife wandering the property! The spacious downstairs covered deck features comfortable rockers.
When you take a few steps away from the cabin, you will find seating for 20 around the fire pit and cooking grate!

PETS
We accept dogs. The fee PER PET is $75. Any unauthorized pet is $200.
Our property is pet (dogs and horses) friendly, BUT...contact us with details about your dog/horse when you book. If your dog isn't house broken (completely) and obedient (as in stay off the furniture), then our Lodge isn't a good fit for your pet. Our guests who bring their dogs ensure that their feet are wiped when necessary before coming back into the Lodge, and that they are doggie bed/crate trained to sleep in a specific place.

NON-AMBULATORY/SPECIAL NEEDS GUESTS:

While most of the Lodge is accessible by wheelchair, please provide us with advanced notice of your needs since our wheelchair ramp for the lower-level stairs (2) is portable and only put into place upon request. The ramp makes the two downstairs guest rooms and sitting area more easily accessible.

ACCESS
You will have access to the entire home, lake and much more. If traveling with kids, please note that the lake is NOT enclosed.

Access to the boats and kayaks is upon request. Hiking trails are available all year except during the firearms deer season for safety reasons.

If you are a grill master (pro or aspiring), you will have ample opportunity to show your skills. There is also a grill, at the carport, that can be used with either gas or charcoal, so pick your grilling pleasure. Or, if you are truly a master of BBQ, fire up the fire pit and grill over the open coals. There's room for 20 or more on the fire pit deck, so you can cook, eat and entertain from one outdoor living space.

Use of the firing range requires advance notice and supervision. For additional fees, firearms safety and marksmanship classes are available for ANY level of student! Beginner’s classes, law enforcement classes, and competition classes are taught by the world-renowned national and world champion pro shooter, Todd Jarret. Classes require significant advanced notice and are priced accordingly.

Multiple 3D archery targets and a safe, covered range are available for archery training.
If you would like a crack at a trophy boar hog, we can arrange for a night hunt for an additional fee.

All guests are free to fish in the well stocked pond!

Wildlife viewing is 24 hours a day! Would you like to view our deer, turkeys, bobcats, foxes, wild boar, and other critters that roam the back of the ranch? We can arrange for a safe sit in a concealed ground blind or elevated ladder stand.

PARKING
7+ cars comfortably. Please do NOT park in the yard.

SELF-CHECK-IN
We provide self-check-in for our guests. The check-in code is provided to guests prior to arrival.

Refuge Ranch sits on 53+ acres along with two small homes owned by Refuge Ranch. The area offers a level of solitude and quietness that only the country can provide. There is not a lot of vehicle traffic on the road in front of the ranch. Even though you feel miles away from civilization, you’re only seven miles from restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. Our goal is to ensure a 5-star experience!

PLEASE treat our farm with the same respect that you do your own home.
The home is a non-smoking and recreational drug-free space. Do not smoke cigarettes, vapes, or cigars while in the home. A fee of $500 is charged if we identify that someone smoked in the residence.

Only guests who are on the original booking are allowed to stay overnight.

Parties are PROHIBITED.

Large gatherings are PROHIBITED.

EVENT SPACE AVAILABLE (WEDDINGS/REUNIONS/CORPORATE GATHERINGS/BIRTHDAYS) - PLEASE INQUIRE.

Refuge Ranch is a family-oriented and child-friendly home. However, children and infants must be under active supervision by a parent or guardian at all times. All responsibility and duty of care for them must be provided by you, including their equipment and needs.

Do I need to rent a car?
Refuge Ranch sits about 45 minutes from the Atlanta Airport; therefore, we recommend renting a car if you plan on traveling to local areas such as downtown Atlanta. Ensure that you book your car at the airport that you travel through.

Must Climb Stairs:
To access the home, there is a small threshold. To access the two additional bedrooms, you will encounter a set of two stairs.
