For what they are charging we should have kept driving to a better place to stay. The place is old, outdated, dirty and smells musty. We only stayed because we were tired coming home from the Carolina’s.

Looked like mold on ceiling. Attempted to check in at 4. Room wasn’t ready. Guest room smelled like pure rubbing alcohol, maybe change cleaner for floors? Door extremely loud. No ice machine.

Cleaning chemicals were extremely strong. We couldn’t stay the entire time we checked out before midnight. Not asthma or allergy friendly. Room was somewhat dusty, the mirror & the sink was dirty in the bathroom.

When we arrived to check in on 27 June 2024 at 730 PM, we were told we did not have a reservation. I pulled up my email to show that the room was booked and paid for. Apparently, the employee was on the wrong day😳. The shower’s faucet was stripped; the handle went in EVERY direction. The water was scalding hot or super cold. It took 15 minutes messing around with the faucet to get warm water in order to shower. We checked out at 0730 AM on 28 June 2024 and employee DID NOT give me a receipt. All my years of traveling and staying at hotels, I have ALWAYS got a receipt; well not today.

The staff was very attentive. They made our granddaughters feel extra special. From the front desk to maid service to breakfast they were helpful and friendly. Girls enjoyed the pool the most.

Very nice property for the money, and they're working on some final updates to spruce it up. Good breakfast buffet. The only knock is that the mattresses are like trampolines. When my wife rolled over it about bounced me in the air.

It's an older property, but they are seriously remodeling at the moment. Noticed a lot of workman hanging out in the lobby, the parking area too. Speaking of the parking area it's in terrible need of repair, I almost fell in a hole in a parking space.

I know they are going through a renovation and it’s definitely needed. Did not know this when booked though. My room was gross and I would never stay there again. I feel bad because the girl working the desk was very nice, the property was just not worth what I paid for the night.
