Dingy & difficulties with Wi-Fi & TV
Dingy - I guess it was clean, but everything was dingy - the pics are not current of the space. Broken screens on deck, moldy wood on deck, broken chairs on deck, rickety flimsy furniture/lamps, dishwasher would not work, kept knocking our legs on the extra large frame of the bed in the bedroom that faces the pool area. Too many knick knacks collecting dust, the art by the sink in the hall bath was covered in spots of probably soap or hair products - this kind of stuff just made it feel not completely clean.This is not a newly remodeled unit. That is a misleading statement.There were bad storms predicted all through the south during our stay - we could not get to real "live" TV to watch Weather Channel or any local weather. The password provided with check-in instructions was not correct. Had to wait until following morning to get new password from the property mgmt. Then we had to use our own personal streaming log ins to download apps to try to get some live weather reporting. There should have been better instructions or a much easier way to handle this. The weather was bad so we spent more time inside than we would have preferred - so this frustration stood out.The responsiveness of the property management was very good. Not having an ice maker was surprising. And only 2 ice trays to make ice.Overall disappointed with the unit, but location is good.
