The Cozy Cottage is that. Cozy and inviting. On arriving we were welcomed by two beautiful friendly outdoor cats and easy instructions in my VRBO inbox on how to get our key for the stay. If that hadn't worked, there was a Ring doorbell as an alternative option. It felt relaxing walking into the kitchenette to see the snacks, placemats, and supplies we needed to perk up after a long drive. Inside the living room and bedroom didn't disappoint either and it was like walking into my old home in Chattanooga. For the age of the building, Crystal has done a fantastic job keeping it clean and repaired. (I know, weird thing to point out, but in those homes, it's so easy to have plaster cracks slip by or floors with minor damage due to foundation shift. Having owned one of those I know the fight and this house was phenomenally well kept.)
The living room was spacious, bedroom comfortable, and bathroom clean. Everything you want in a stay.
The Bonuses were also great! Streaming services for guests on the televisions, guides to the local area, a small computer for looking up information, and food/bottled water in the kitchen made it feel like a small getaway while I was in for a work trip.
Crystal was responsive to messages and forgiving when I missed the pet fee on the first day, and allowed me to get that to her on the second.
We even got caught in part of a tropical storm and the house felt safe all night as we rode out the winds and rain.
To anyone looking for a little getaway between Biloxi and New Orleans, anyone needing to hit Gulfport for a business trip, or for those who may be traveling through Gulfport on I-10, this will be my suggested place to stay. Thank you for taking care of us Crystal!
