It felt like I was inside an art installation, and I could feel the owner's delicate and considerate heart in everything provided, so I felt like I was treated well. Delightful and comfortable hanok accommodation
We had the most wonderful stay at this property. It’s super comfortable, absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect for exploring the town. The property owner was delightful, responsive, and accommodating. She really went the extra mile to ensure we had the best stay possible. I can’t recommend this property highly enough for anyone looking for a very nice place to stay in Gyeongju.

The guesthouse is located in a very charming neighborhood with multiple stores and restaurants around it. The host met us at the street in front and gave us instructions on door locks and amenities. The room is roomy enough but it would have been nice if it also provides a small table and chairs to sit on (it has enough space for them) instead of just the 2 beds. The amenities are adequate except there’s only a small rack to hang a few pieces of clothing. Our friends had the bigger toom that costs $100 a day more and was roomier as well as having chairs to sit on but was the only room available. Renting the larger room would have been better and recommended

This is such an amazing place and I wish I could have stayed here much longer. The unit I stayed in was beautiful, with a mix of traditional Korean hanok surroundings and modern furnishings, including a comfortable bed, mini fridge, microwave, and speaker. The place was immaculate and came with nice touches of comforts, including coffee, tea, water, and ramen. The hostess was incredibly helpful, even though we had to use some online tools to help translate. The location was right in the middle of the charming old area, with restaurants and stores hidden around every corner.

Sue, the property owner, met us personally to let us in and show us our room and amenities. She was very generous with her hospitality and kindness during our stay and made herself available for any questions we had. Our room was magically charming and one of the most magnificent stays we've experienced while travelling to a distant country! The location was perfectly located to get to sites and restaurants/shopping while maintaining a private setting. It truly was a perfect stay.

A magical stay
We absolutely adored our stay at SoiHanok. The room was incredibly comfortable and a visual treat. It is organised/designed in such a way that there was a constant play of light, in different areas throughout the day, with perfectly positioned chairs or seated areas. A peaceful place to unwind. Very easy and friendly communication with host; we will certainly visit again. 감사합니다!
