Nice stay & convenient location for what we wanted. First building you see when parking at property looks very run downs & in need of repair/painting - not like fotos online. Inside hotel was nice though.

The facility is older; there's no denying that. However, if you're sightseeing in the area and need a safe, comfortable place to sleep and shower, then this place suits. My sister and i shared a twin room for one night, had dinner at a close, very good restaurant, and slept in comfortable beds. We had to depart before breakfast was served and reception staff voluntarily offered bag lunches for super early the next morning. I reccommend it for the convenience and cost.

Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were really lovely and friendly. The breakfast was lovely wished we had tried the evening meal too. The only downside was it could do with a bit of refurbishing ie new carpets in the bedrooms. Would definitely go back again.

Unfortunately the first impression you get is a tired hotel needing some TLC but the staff are all great and the rooms clean with some nice touches. Bottles Waters/biscuits/shower gel. Breakfast was lovely. Great location. Would recommend, staff were very friendly and helpful. Don’t be put off on arrival. arrival.

Visited many many years ago for a wedding reception. It has changed hands several times since, the inside is good but the garden & outside need work big time. Staff however were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Food was ok, but the menu choice not inspiring.

Toilet bowl (not seat) was loose which was quite unerving to sit on and was not fixed despite reporting it. I was told that happens sometimes? The room smelt of dogs. And despite the rules 2 dogs were allowed in the dinning during reakfast and started barking and straining on there leash towards me as I walked to my table. Later we saw the manageress pet the the dogs and the continue to serve breakfast. No fan iin room and the advice to cool the room was to open the window. We were on the ground floor so this wasnt at all secure. Also the window didn't have a lock. The bathroom lock also didnt work properly. Staff didn't seem to care and the hotel definitely needs work.

Stayed here for one night as we were catching a flight home the next morning. The property is much older looking than in the photos. The room was very clean but extremely small (I could hear someone in the next room snoring) so we were glad we were only spending one night there. Also the reception on the TV was really poor - feed kept cutting out which was frustrating. Front desk staff was pleasant but made a comment that I had a “strange” last name which was a bit off putting but he did offer to put together a boxed lunch for us since we would be missing breakfast which was very nice. I will say that the location is really good as you are a short walk to the town centre which has restaurants and other amenities.

We were made to feel extremely welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean.Substantial breakfast, cooked while you waited. Easy walking distance to shops, cafe`s etc.
