It was very quiet clean and comfortable No staff available to check you in and everywhere closed up at 20.05. No kettle tea or coffee available which was a great disappointment after a long journey only cold drinks in the hallway to buy !!!

Quaint family run hotel
The hotel is a charming old farm property run by a family. The people were very friendly and all spoke English, at least enough to get by. The room was large and had everything we need. The beds were twins, which was not what we expected but were fairly comfortable. The pillows are huge but collapse down to nothing. There were not bed sheets over the fitted sheet, just a comforter. As is the case with many places in Germany, there is no air conditioning but it was comfortable to sleep with the window open. The bathroom was recently renovated and the water pressure in the shower might be the best I have ever experienced. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely country hotel
As we didn't speak or understand German, we found that the in room booklet could have had a back to back page of English translation. There were European pillows on the bed that were very flat and made it quite uncomfortable to sleep.

Surprised beautiful Westphalian hotel
Travelled with 2 children. Family run Hotel in a classic Westphalia historical half timber building located on a working farm in Unna. Large room, clean, wifi ready and plenty of parking. Breakfast treated with local produce served in real China. Owners sat down with you as well! English speaking and very hospitable. Highly recommend

In walking distance from city centre.
When we arrived we were shown to a room where the lock did not work properly and I asked for another room. They offered us the choice of 2 rooms in another more modern part of the hotel, and we chose the better room, which was very nice. The Internet ad had described the room which we originally booked with city views of Unna, but there aren't any city views. Perhaps this description needs to be taken away. Otherwise everything was fine. The breakfast menu was a buffet style with ample choices of sausage, cheeses, eggs, cereals, jams, fruit, bread rolls, different types of bread, juices etc

La estancia ha sido muy buena, las habitaciones confort son muy modernas y las camas muy comodas. El baño amplio y limpio. El único punto negativo es las malas conexiones con el centro de Dortmund por la noche pero durante el dia esta muy bien.
