Anyone who has read a few reviews can see there is construction going on out front, there is a cost for parking and it isn't all that convenient, and that it is an older property that could use a refresh. There's a reason it's currently significantly cheaper than nearby properties. It's well worth the price.

Chaos to find a parking due to construction in front of the hotel. Not the hotel fault but could help their clients with a parking discount or coupons as it is not the client's fault either. Reception was nice to change my room from 1 to 3rd as I didn't want to be to close to the street. Bathroom needs an upgrade. Nice view of the harbour.

We found the king size bed comfortable but the bathroom and room was very dated and smelled like Nilodor. The bathtub was dusty and had rust stains. I was not able to open the window for fresh air. Very average stay, Especially for the price. Parking is off sight up the hill two blocks and not included with your stay. The street just aside the hotel was in construction which can’t be helped. We did enjoy breakfast at Tempo restaurant which is attached to the hotel. Great location for walking about downtown Halifax.

The location of this property is great-very easy to walk most places and parking is handy if coming with a car. Good sized, quiet room and I liked the water refill station in the lobby
