De acuerdo a las fotos publicadas y la habitación 401 no coincide, era de más o menos 4 metros de ancho y de largo 2.5 mts. El cielo raso estaba súper pegado a la cama y se golpeaba uno constantemente, no dejaba movilidad en el Mismo cuarto porque no se tenía un espacio para dejar las maletas. Así mismo no contaba con ascensor, necesario para alguien que lleva maletas en un viaje largo. En la recepción no tienen dominio completo del idioma inglés, escencial al receptor de turismo y hubo que medio comunicarse con señas, además al momento de querer solicitar dejar las maletas, la recepción estaba cerrada, se tenía un tour programado y cuando regresamos la mucama nos regañó por haber llegado 45 min del check out, pro cuando quisimos comunicarnos para coordinar lo de dejar el equipaje en recepción, la misma estaba cerrada con cortina metálica. Además se trató de llamar x teléfono y nadie contestó. Sinceramente la relación precio/calidad, no tiene relación.

It did the job
I spent 4 nights while a tourist in Hamburg. Hotel Altan did the job for me. It's a couple of short blocks from the U-Bahn station and a 20 minute walk to the center. There are lots of restaurants in the neighborhood. The neighborhood was lively but my room was quiet.

Ghetto hotel in loud area
This hotel does not look like in the pictures, in real life it’s old and sketchy and it is in a very loud area, you can hear all the yelling and cars when you’re trying to sleep with the window opened because It doesn’t have A/C or a fan during summer time, it does not have a reception like in the pictures and no one who can give info for tourists. Rooms are clean but toilet doesn’t flush very good

Bad hotel in Hamburg
Tiny, unventilated rooms with temeprature indoors around 28C while outdoors it was 30C+. Our room was in the loft with soped ceilings. There was a connecting door to another room filled with loud Liverpudlians who talked, sang and lisetend to music throughout the night. Impossible to sleep or to sleep well.

Altan Hotel
Great little family run hotel in the wonderful St. Pauli area, friendly staff, good clean rooms and a good breakfast. The stairs could be a challenge and it's best not to take a car as parking is very difficult. I'd go back any time.

Quaint Hotel w/ the essentials in a GREAT locale!
Quaint hotel. Great staff. Easy to check in and out. In a great area for lots of different eats and experiences. Bike rental spot right outside the hotel is very convenient. Rooms were small, but was perfect for what we needed. The area is much more interesting than the room! Would definitely stay again!

Good location for Hamburg Dom
Hotel is ideally situated for the Hamburg Dom Fair, St Pauli FC, Reeperbahn etc (only a 10-15 minute walk) and easy to get too but hotel parking was very limited and noise insulation within the hotel was extremely poor. Other guests succeeded in waking us numerous times up to 3 o'clock in the morning.

Keine Schränke vorhanden für die Kleidung, man lebt wirklich aus dem Koffer. Es wird kein Frühstück Angeboten obwohl man mit Kindern kommt und die Webseite was anderes verspricht. Kaum Platz zum bewegen, mit Kindern eher unpraktisch.
