First, great friendly staff.
The location itself is fine, it is near a supermarket for snacks. Unfortunately the city has a major homeless problem, and by the looks of things the city appears not to care about helping these humans.... The area between the hotel and Hauptbahnhof, in particular August-Bebel-Park and the bus station, is where the city seems to corral and ignore their citizens who are most in need of help. There is a lot of drug use and polite people asking for change, but there were plenty of police so it was safe.
The hotel room was big, with two singles pushed together as a double. The bed was hard but ok, unfortunately the pillows were flat, even folded and stacked my neck hurt each morning. The TV was good with the ability to cast, no lag from streaming. The shower was strong, but with one side open it resulted in the bathroom turning into a paddle pool, the water didn't drain quickly enough. No mini fridge or tea / coffee in the room. Small safe in the room. Two free small bottles of water on first night.
Their website mentions a gym which doesn't exist and restaurant which only does breakfast and lunch.
I really wanted to like this place but the pillows annoyed me the most.
