As the General Manager of the Margaritaville Hotel in Medford, Oregon, I was eager to provide feedback from my recent stay, as I believe in the importance of guest experiences.
Upon arrival, the check-in process was less than ideal. There was a significant wait due to only one staff member at the desk, and although a supervisor came to assist, I noticed some distracting side conversations among the employees.
The room itself was very clean, which I appreciated, but it did feel somewhat outdated. I noticed that the bathroom door had what appeared to be scratches at the bottom, and the caulking around the tub could use replacement. Additionally, the sofa bed had some brown stains on it, and the TV remote was not functioning. While I did call the desk for assistance and they promptly provided a new remote and extra towels, it would have been preferable to have everything in working order upon check-in, especially since there were only three towels for our party.
Despite these issues, I want to emphasize that everything else about my stay was wonderful. This is my third time visiting this hotel, and I truly enjoy the overall experience. I appreciate the staff's efforts and look forward to seeing improvements on my next visit. Thank you!
