Perfect location for exploring the old quarter and daily walks around the lake, and also slightly quieter area for some much needed rest from the hustle and bustle. Staff could not have been more hospitable. Keeping us informed and thinking ahead and treating all guests as VIPs. We were allowed to use our VIP access hotels.com allowances which most hotels we have stayed in never recognise this. We had a great spa treatment - facial with tumeric at a reasonable price. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and wish we had gone more as the cocktails were delicious! Breakfast buffet was varied and fresh both Vietnamese and Western options. Rooms and bed were very comfortable and spacious enough for 3 nights. Shower was great pressure and always got hot water. Only things we thought could be made better was the lighting. Shaving your face or doing your makeup on the bathroom mirror/ vanity mirror was very difficult! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to all. 5 stars!!

The hospitality here has been exceptional. The (hotel) staff are lovely, very attentive and try to accomodate and help wherever possible. The best things about Solaria: - very strategically located for a good majority of attractions around the Old Quater. Everything is walkable and nearby. - The food options for breakfast and that they allow you to pick freshly prepared hot food. The rooms are a bit dated and do look a bit old, however, it was still decently comfortable. The one minor annoyance I had was with the toiletries provided here. They give it in those tiny bottles. Would have been easier for use if they had those larger (pump) containers that can be easily refilled. Not a big deal though. The comfort of the beds, cleaniless etc were still very good.

This was my third stay at Solaria, and once again the level of customer service was exceptional — just as great as my first stay and remarkably consistent over time. The team truly sets this hotel apart. I would like to sincerely thank Grace, Ryan, Tamila, Lily, Theresa, and Ms. Ling for their attentive, professional, and genuinely caring service throughout our stay. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was handled smoothly and thoughtfully. A very special thank you to Grace, who went truly above and beyond in assisting us with transportation coordination and even arranging delivery of critical ID cards to Ninh Binh after we had already checked out — more than 24 hours later. This level of follow-through and care is a strong testament to Solaria’s outstanding concierge and customer service culture. It is rare to find a hotel that maintains such high standards of service across multiple stays. Solaria continues to deliver a consistently excellent experience, and I would confidently recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reliability, professionalism, and genuine hospitality in Hanoi.

Room was nice if a little 'tired' in places. Staff were absolutely brilliant, helpful in every way. Breakfast was OK, I was a bit surprised that it finished before 10 on New Year's day. Location is pretty good. NYE party was a bit of a disappointment. I couldn't find a waiter to serve the second drink on my ticket. Sorry but there were too many people up there.

Wow! What a wonderful experience staying at the Solaria Hotel, Hanoi! The staff was amazing and the service was exceptional. Grace was lovely, she made us feel so welcomed and well-cared for, ensuring that everything was perfect during our stay in Hanoi. The included breakfast was fabulous, we were full every day until dinner 😄. We loved the Sky Bar as well, great service and excellent view of the evening light show over Hoan Kiem lake. The hotel is in a great location, a short walk to restaurants, night market, etc. We highly recommend Solaria Hotel!

Solaria is a hotel you stay in to wrap your travels up with class. The hotel clerks, Daria and Tamika, were absolutely superb in their support for arranging transportation to the airport. They also helped us schedule a massage in their spa that was professional and healthy. The skybar is the best rooftop bar in Hanoi, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The restaurant is excellent with a variety of regionally representative choices from all over Vietnam.

Clean rooms - we got an upgrade! Fast service whenever we had a request. The staff is unparalleled! Originally, we had only booked 1 night so save on costs during our visit to Hà Nội. However, we switched over immediately due to a horrendous experience at another hotel. The staff graciously accommodated our last minute change to extend our stay to 4 nights, including finding 4 nights in a great room for our 2 kids at the sister hotel, Solaria Tesori. Check in was a breeze. Staff, like Grace at the front desk when above and beyond our expectations. She was caring, welcoming, helpful and even found and booked an amazing jazz show for us on short notice. She took the time to check in on us when we were not at breakfast the next morning along with sending coffee and pastries to our room since we missed breakfast! We will definitely stay at Solaria again next time we are back. Thank you to all staff and team.

Extremely pleasant staff and excellent service. Ryan from concierge services did everything to ensure our trip was memorable. The hotel is located right at the heart of the Old Quarters and just a couple of minutes away from the lake. I highly recommend their Vietnamese restaurant downstairs. The food there is delicious.

The best hotel stay I have had in my 26 years or travelling. All staff very attentive , friendly and going the extra mile to make you feel welcome and like a member of a family.
