Beautiful Boutique Hotel with 10* Customer Service

There are literally hundreds of hotels in Hanoi to choose from, each offering and promising ultimately the same. What sets Solaria apart from anywhere else is the level they go to to ensure your stay is comfortable, enjoyable and pleasurable. Every single member of staff went out of their way to know us, help us and recognise our needs .. often before we knew! Customer service is on a different level here and the hotel itself is gorgeous. The rooms are modern and large, the spa downstairs is a very welcome facility and offer an array of services at very reasonable prices and the rooftop bar is just heavenly!

The staff in Solaria are a dream (especially Lily)! What a fantastic experience it was. No question or request was too little or too much for them and they gave us tips for our Ha Long Bay cruise. They helped organize our airport transfers; we had checked out a day before our cruise and they were happy to store our luggage while we were away (they even gave us some fruit and water for the journey to the marina). When we came back, we had a city tour and we were able to freshen up in their shower room and when I decided to get a facial, they honoured the guest spa discount event though we were technically no longer guests. Amazing! The bed was a little firm for our personal preference and they got a mattress topper for us. MIAs restaurant downstair was also fantastic! We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Hanoi - it's a small boutique hotel that packs a great punch and makes you feel like VIPs. This is hands down the top, most hospitable hotel we have ever had the pleasure to experience, and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Hanoi.

This must be the best hotel we have ever stayed at - particularly the staff who were utterly outstanding. Their communication was stunning, they had so many languages between them and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was brilliant within walking distance of so many attractions and minutes from the lake. There were so many restaurants of outstanding quality within five minutes of the hotel, although the hotel breakfasts were fabulous. Don’t stay anywhere else if you are in Hanoi!! We will definitely be back and were sad not to stay longer

Right in the old quarter of Hanoi, this beautiful and charming hotel is a true gem. Location is perfect for walking around and immersing yourself into Hanoi culture, food , and handmade goods . The staff ...I honestly cannot express our gratitude nor how ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING they are in words alone . From the BEAUTIFUL girls at front desk to the doorman , unbelievable . A very special thank you to Tamila , she took us in and made everything better than perfect !! Even went so far as to pack us a breakfast /lunch as we left for our flight left before breakfast was served . We had a great stay at this hotel, the largest king bed I have ever seen! Great bathroom and toiletries, friendly staff with great customer service orientation. Also extremely walkable around the old quarter. Highly recommended.

Exceptional Stay at Hotel Solaria! We had a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Solaria. The location is superb—central and within walking distance to all the main attractions, great eateries, and shopping areas in Hanoi. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. What truly made our stay memorable was the outstanding service. The staff were generous, hospitable, and genuinely attentive. They consistently went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of, which made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hanoi!

The Solaria hotel is perfectly situated to explore Hanoi. The rooms were great, the hotel was clean and well presented and happy hour in the roof top bar to watch the sunset over the city was a welcome plus! The best thing about the Solaria hotel however was the staff! From the moment we checked in every single member of the staff was happy, helpful and friendly. From providing recommendations around Hanoi to ensuring we got to our transfers everyone was happy to assist. Daria was especially helpful and went over and above to help us after our check out: giving us recommendations for our next city, ensuring we could still use the facilities and providing us with treats for our overnight train. I would definitely recommend staying here!

To begin with the conclusion: this hotel is very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and the church. There are two supermarkets nearby, and you can still dash out to restock before 7 a.m. on the day you go home. The breakfast was delicate and delicious, and the hotel staff were very friendly—especially Grace. Although we only stayed for one night, we would still choose to stay here again next time we come to Hanoi. Also, we were traveling with family this time—2 adults and 2 children, with one child only 2 years old. We booked a room online that included breakfast for three people, but we were still charged extra for the 2-year-old, saying it was over the occupancy limit. Even if the 2-year-old sleeps in the same bed with the parents in a double room, there's still an extra charge. The fee wasn’t high, but at the hotels we stayed at earlier in Hanoi, our 2-year-old child was not charged, so we found it a bit unacceptable. That said, everything else was great, and the service staff were all wonderful, so this small downside can be overlooked. All in all, we still recommend staying here.

We travelled around Vietnam for a few weeks, and our stay at Solaria Hotel was by far the best. The service was exceptional, every staff member made sure we felt comfortable and well looked after. The hotel was clean, and the food was absolutely delicious, with many gluten-free options. Solaria was the only hotel that truly catered to our dietary needs without compromising the experience. For example, we had amazing gluten-free pancakes, something we didn’t find anywhere else! This was our first hotel in Vietnam, and we expected other 4-star hotels to be similar, but Solaria really stood out. I love sweets, and I was so thankful they included gluten-free treats too. The spa was another highlight, the massage was excellent and very relaxing. What also made a big difference was the communication before our stay. Susan was incredibly helpful and caring, assisting with tour bookings and local information, which made planning so much easier. The location is perfect, close to attractions, markets, and restaurants. But what truly sets Solaria apart is the service and warm communication. We felt valued and well cared for throughout our stay. I highly recommend Solaria Hotel. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish!

I really enjoyed staying at the Solaria. It is located next to the Old Quarter of Hanoi, which is the area that all visitors go to because it has lots of shopping, restaurants, night market, and things to see. Room was nice and clean. Free breakfast was pretty good with lots of choices. The staff is very professional and courteous. Upon my arrival, they also let me check-in early. Also, on the day that I departed, my flight was late in the evening, so they stored my luggage for me while I spent my last afternoon exploring. (I liked that they stored it in a locked room behind the reception, as it seemed more secure than other hotels that just leave your luggage in a corner of the lobby.)
