We were in chicago to celebrate my son's birthday. Ray was incredibly nice and gave my son a free complimentary soda for his birthday. He also gave us free parking. So that would be able to go out and enjoy my son's birthday. He was incredibly thoughtful! I would stay here again. The staff was amazing! And the pool was nice warm and comfortable like bath water. Thank. You to everybody? My son had a wonderful birthday!

Outgoing and friendly staff, and elevator issues
Lynette was hospitable and welcoming, I suspect she's never met a stranger, definitely makes the stay memorable. All staff we met were helpful and welcoming as well. Room was spacious and separated sleeping space and living space, which is nice if someone is on a different sleep schedule, so you don't disturb others. The only real issue was the elevators. We learned the loading/staff elevator was out of service, forcing the large housekeeping carts into fairly small elevators, of which there are only 3 for such a large hotel, so prepare to wait to catch an elevator. The problem is a known issue, so plan your time for 15 minute waits to get downstairs. The view from the top is great, worth checking it out!! Overall a good stay.

Coming from the UK we found it quite challenging to find a hotel that didn’t break the bank. The States is much more expensive and this was the most reasonable we found. Perfectly positioned to explore Chicago as the station for the Blue Line is on the edge of the parking lot. Hotel had very helpful staff. Food was ok but not a great selection. Hotel generally in need of a refresh. One issue we had was dealt with quickly and professionally by the check in staff. Free transfer bus provided by the hotel was a good bonus.
