My stay here in Havana was excellent. Especially the sympathetic employees were amazing. Jorge the manager made me feel right at home and chef Andy makes the best lobster I have had the pleasure of eating. Highly recommend!

This wasn't a hotel, this felt like home. The staff are amazing. Jorge treated me well. Adrian was the night shift, he and I chatted all night. Vanessa was there during the day. The food is incredible. My room was cleaned every day. They arranged for me to sight see and take tours. My phone was stolen at the beach in Varadero (2 hours away). Vanessa offered to have me use her phone to call my family. She organized a taxi for me to get a phone and SIM card while I was there. The next day was my birthday and I was a little sad because I lost my phone. They made cake and sang for me on my birthday. They made sure I felt at home. The place was quite. The first floor is the lobby and eating area. The 4th floor is the roof top where you have breath-taking views. The hotel is in walking distance of Malecon. I was walking there at 10PM and at 5AM. I felt completely safe! Sit and talk with the staff about the background and culture. It's a free experience and you will learn a lot! I am planning to return to Cuba and will stay here again. This was an amazing experience because of the hotel staff.

Very charming old home converted to hotel, in heart of city, very safe area. Check in persons- Jorge and Venessa made sure that everything comfortable for us. Their welcome drink includes Mojito, could add some sweetness into it. Ginger cocktail very very good, best that we had in Havana. A/C works very well. Only had overnight stay, and he car with us all time so commuting everywhere was quite easy.

What makes Vapor 156 so special is the staff. Everyone was so accommodating and professional. Their care and recommendations were exceptional. The hotel being 100 years old next year was really cool. The memorabilia was dated to that era. We had a team of seven and everyone felt that they were the one getting special care. The breakfast was delicious and the service was great. There was some added services that the staff did for us because they wanted to. When we leaving our last day there was hugs and photos. I would highly recommended Vapor 156 and we will be back.

We have nothing but great things to say about Vapor! From the moment we entered the doors, we were treated like family. Jorge, the hotel manager is so friendly and kind. All of the staff are equally as amazing and accommodating. They will do anything to make you feel welcome. The room and bathroom was great. We enjoyed the cool air in the room and the English movie channels before bed. Many great sites within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful. You feel like you’ve stepped into another time period. The food was amassing as well. We enjoyed the coffee and dinner. There’s an extensive menu. Top to bottom, left to right, this was a great place to stay.

The staff at the hotel are so accommodating and nice. Especially Vanessa. She is fantastic. The manager, Jorge is great too. :) The hotel is nice and is well renovated and maintained. Outside looks sketchy but is actually just where locals live. It's actually pretty safe and quiet at night.

The staff was amazing, incredibly friendly, drinks were fantastic, food was good too. The neighbourhood was “up and coming”. Don’t let the surroundings scare you, it’s very safe. Walkable to many places. Rooftop was under construction, when’s its complete it will be a a great place to hang and catch the view.

I came here for a business trip and the hotel was very clean and really well kept. The manager and all the staff were super nice and will do anything for you to feel comfortable! It’s also in the heart of Havana and the rooms were cleaned everyday! The staff speak very good English and it’s a great place if you’re worried about not speaking Spanish they can call taxis and translate in any instances. I will be staying at this hotel again!
