Wonderful

The shower was extremely little. The bathroom was not especially clean.
On day two the room was not cleaned, however the plastic bag in the rubbish bin had disappeared. When complaining, we were told that the cleaners had resigner, so the restaurant personnel had to do the cleaning. How should this be my problem?!
A waitress volunteered to clean the room. We had to contact the personnel to get our now washed and dried towels back at 9 pm - they had forgot about us again. Result - instead of two small towels, We got two bathmats!!
Breakfast is forgettable. The salmon on the menu should be removed for the summer.
Remark this: don’t be late when you want to park behind the place. Restaurant guests also use the parking lot, which is not very big.
Stayed here for a base during our visit to Skomer. Knew it had a sea view but very pleasantly surprised to have a balcony over looking the sea. Despite a restaurant under the room, it was quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed a really good pizza in the restaurant. Several different eating options within walking distance, a local shop and a nice walk around a lake. A lovely area with a peaceful seaside feel & fabulous sunsets. Will definitely be back.
Our two night stay was comfortable. The staff was very helpful. We took some great hikes along the coastal route and best of all having their fabulous dinner! Wonderful! Thanks
Ignore the old reviews, as it’s currently being run this is an awful place.
It’s run down and tatty. The walls are thin and we could clearly hear conversations from the restaurant downstairs.
The owner repeatedly complained about not having staff. Our room wasn’t cleaned or restocked at the end of our stay. The breakfast cook rarely turned up even though breakfast was only between 8 and 9.
The Wi-Fi was very poor and eventually stopped working. The only TV channels were wifi based, so we didn’t have any TV either.
Just about everything was very poor, save for the location.
All of this for £165 per night.
Avoid.

Liked: Cleanliness
Excellent seaside location. Practically on the beach
I booked a Superior room with Sea view and veranda.. The first room shown had Sea view and a veranda but was like a box room. Second room offered had a sea view but was a standard double. for £150 per night no where near good enough. when i complained to the owner who had just taken control, he said we were lucky not to have been double booked, no apology. You advise pet free but has dogs welcome all over the site. The girl serving the breakfast and the breakfast was good. Not a place I would ever visit again, don't go if you are Claustrophobic the bathroom was like a converted cupboard. A special occasion totally ruined.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
This is the second stay at this place, the location is fabulous. Obviously its marketed as a B&B so it wont have the facilities and staff as a hotel would, I stayed in the same room as before, which was comfortable and had a great view, the shower could do with upgrading but it was adequate. I did enjoy their pizza, it was delicious along with some local cider. The breakfast was good too.
Overall its a pleasant place for the price.
We had a lovely time during our visit. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, and made us feel very welcome and looked after. The rooms were clean and comfortable, fantastic food in the restaurant and a superb location on the beach. All in all we felt very safe, relaxed and well fed!
