The space
The cabins are 3 separate units approximate 110sq ft each that share a common deck. This booking is for all three. Cabin #1 includes a kitchenette, bathroom, and shower. Cabin #2 is called the Crystal Cabin. It includes a hangout/living room space featuring crystals and sound bowls. (We can also convert it to a second bedroom if desired for an up charge with additional guests). And Cabin #3 is the main sleeping cabin/bedroom which includes a queen bed and a fireplace. The cabins are at the very back of the property and very private from the main house.
Guest access
We will send you a map of the property so you know where you can enjoy and where to avoid. But you’ll have access to most of the property, the hiking trails, the upper pond, lower creek, and as far into the Forrest as you want to go.
Other things to note
This is a working farm. Meaning we are typically here living, working, fixing things, feeding the animals, walking the dogs etc. The dogs bark at all visitors who enter the property initially. They are fenced. And they will quiet down after a bit. They are 3 big dogs that are great with people. However, no pets are allowed. This is mainly for their safety and also because we have free roaming cats and also baby animals like pigs, goats, and chickens that also roam around now and again.
We do live here in the main house so we do ask to respect privacy. But you have plenty of land to explore.
If you want to meet the animals and interact with us just send us a message. As stated we will follow your lead. Do your own thing, or ask us for a tour.
Food & cooking:
- The cabins have a kitchenette with an electric cooktop and a toaster oven, as well as a brand new gas grill outside on the deck. Bring your own food or travel to town for a meal, up to you!
