Wonderful hotel, I regret I had to leave too soon. I admired the museum pieces on display in the hall with the bakdrop of the Ocean view. The staff was very helpful in giving me info about all the places to visit in the Kenting area. An amazing place.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the facilities were generally well-maintained, I encountered a couple of issues that impacted my overall experience. Firstly, the rules surrounding the use of the swimming pool were quite restrictive compared to other hotels in the area. For example, specific hats needed to be worn. Additionally, the requirement to wear a specific type of swim cap felt unnecessary and was not enforced at other nearby hotels. Secondly, the breakfast buffet left much to be desired, especially for Muslim guests or those with dietary restrictions. The selection was heavily focused on Taiwanese cuisine, with very few options that would appeal to international visitors. There were limited choices for halal food, and the overall variety was lacking, which made breakfast a less enjoyable experience. While the hotel has its strengths, these issues with the pool rules and breakfast options are areas that could use improvement to better cater to a diverse range of guests.

Very nice but….
Excellent staff - but we were housed in the old area of the resort and the rooms are tired, however the beds were very comfy. Breakfast, the coffee places were all very very good. Pool area is excellent. The beach area needs some serious maintenance and trash collection. Seems like a lot of inconsistencies between the various areas of the resort. Also the registration gave one information but later the breakfast restaurant wouldn’t honor the coupons given by registration. For the grounds in front of the resort there is a lot of plastic waste.

Nothing wrong with this place. It was in a lovely location within walking distance to night market. You need to drive to enter the National Park, unless you are up for a ten km walk. I gave it four stars because it is showing it's age a bit. But it was clean and I would stay there again.

The hotel is a bit dated, but it’s still a nice property with friendly and helpful staff. Just minutes from downtown by foot. The rooms have unbelievable ocean view

We stayed here 10 years ago and were already disappointed by the room's hygiene. Surprisingly, Chateau Beach Resort didn't disappoint me. The room has a heavy dust layer stuck at the AC ventilation, and I even see mold on the ceiling. The location is superb but they really need careful renovation.

Over priced
Very over priced. The second floor rooms are small and cramped and very expensive. Stay elsewhere if you are choosing those rooms. The ground floor room with beach access is better.

Excellent beach, ok rooms.
Hotel with a great view, nice beach, good service, but so so rooms. Views were amazing and has nice pool and lots of toys and beach chairs. Can relax. But when come to the room, they are ok, but nothing compared to a normal Hilton. Overall good stay. The breakfast was decent also. A bit pricey.
