Welcome to Selah Cove —a peaceful newly-built retreat that invites you to slow down, take in the natural beauty around you, and reconnect with what truly matters. Whether you're savoring the quiet serenity of the lake at dawn or gathering with friends and family for an evening under the stars, our cottage offers an idyllic setting for creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Nestled among towering pines and perched on boulders shaped by glaciers, Selah provides stunning, floor-to-ceiling views of the water from nearly every room. The open-concept floor plan is ideal for large family gatherings, and the spacious deck, with its sliding glass doors, extends your living space outdoors—perfect for grilling, dining, or just enjoying the fresh air.
The kitchen is equipped with new appliances, a coffee station, and an island that has seating for two. The cozy living room has a flat screen television, and looks out onto the view of Washerwoman’s Bay.
The master bedroom is on the main floor with a california-king-sized bed, walk-in shower, and a full view of the lake. Upstairs, you will find two bedrooms, a full bath, and a loft area. The first bedroom has two twin beds. The second bedroom is outfitted with a queen bed. The loft is the perfect place for reading a good book, or playing games. The fourth bedroom can be found in the basement with a lake view.
For fun and relaxation, head downstairs to the basement where you’ll find a ping pong table, smart TV, dart board, and living space. When you're ready to enjoy the outdoors, step out onto the covered patio, a peaceful spot for unwinding no matter the weather. The Adirondack chairs by the firepit offer the perfect place to relax by the lake, and the dock invites you to explore Trout Lake by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard. The water is shallow right at the waters edge but does get deep by the end of the dock. The dock (from the shoreline) is 32 feet long. It gradually goes from zero to about 6 feet deep at the end of the dock. When we have small children with us, we do play at the waters edge but keep them in a PFD for safety. The water is very clear and the bottom is mostly round pebbles near the edge with larger rocks. Fishing is also a popular activity here, with clear waters teeming with fish, so be sure to grab a pole!
At Selah, we believe in the power of pause. The name "Selah" comes from the Hebrew tradition, where it calls for a moment of reflection—an invitation to breathe, listen, and be present. Whether you’re retreating for some personal reflection or enjoying the company of loved ones, we hope your time here offers the space to do just that.
Come, take a break, and let the beauty of the lake, the forest, and the stars rejuvenate your spirit.
