Felt great in old school style well located Room was a good size with view over treed school grounds

It was great . lovely room and spacious.parking at the door . walked to the sale greyhound club (10 minutes) for great food and drinks .the host was friendly and informative.servo next door .would definitely stay here again .thankyou

If Heyfield has an oasis this is it! What a wonderful property they have at Motel 3858. It's on the edge of town, but there's a nice takeaway Italian place within easy walking distance and other options just a little further down the road in the town centre. We bought a bottle of wine from the bottlo, had a luxurious outdoor bath in our courtyard, then grabbed a takeaway Pizza to enjoy while watching a Netflix movie on the smart TV (using your own Netflix account). A really nice night in as part of a long road trip. Grant was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Motel 3858 was a unique and surprising experience in the "middle of nowhere", or the "middle of everywhere" as the local marketing says. I can't rate it highly enough.

There was no one there to check in, it seemed like it has closed down. The place was empty of customers. If it's not closed down it should be. Another Watif failure. Now Watif is trying to cancel my Garden motel Gundagai reservation.
