Not a good experience.
We did not have a very good stay. We were unaware of extensive renovations when we booked. It was extremely hard to haul all of our stuff to a different floor just to get to the lobby. It did not seem safe having the lobby area open but nobody was there due to renovations. A dog barked across the hall from us off and on entire night. Unfortunately the parent would not take it out and we contacted front desk but apparently they could not do anything about the extensive barking. We ended up asking to check out early. They accommodated the request so we were able to leave and go somewhere different. We will not return to this hotel in the future.

It was disappointing
My stay in Hilton Head was disappointing. . I never knew hotels put fragrances into the hvac system. My son got terribly ill and never stopped coughing and sneezing all day and night. It was noted on my reservation that I had allergies to dander and feathers. . Also the mattress was too soft and uncomfortable.
