Great little place to grab and just a short walk to the ocean on a private path. Location is easily accessible and can get anywhere in HHI very quickly. Would stay here again!

Cute little bungalow by the sea
We stayed with our three teens for spring break. It was a cute little property in HH. The kids rented bikes at the Salty Dog and were able to bike everywhere. The house is tiny but a clean and convenient place to rest your heads if you are an active family and looking for a simple place to stay while exploring the island. Easy check in process and secluded. Would recommend to minimalist families looking for a fair priced and clean getaway in Hilton head.

Perfect spot in sea pines. great value
Two large private screened in porches, cold A/C, kitchen stocked with everything, everything is very clean andupdated. 3 tvs, dvds, board games, High ceilings in every part of house. Outdoor shower, nice private path straight to the beach between neighborhoods. Good value for being in sea pines. Only complaint was that we had to call management to get the code to the pool. Pool is excellent. We will definitely book again next year

Great place to stay
My family and I loved this vacation home. Great location in a safe spot. The two screened porches were awesome to hang out in after a long day. We had some ants that came in through a window and the management company immediately bought us some ant spray. Very quick to help which I liked. I was a little disappointed to see the granite counters in the kitchen in such bad shape. There was a large space where the counter tops separated which was very unprofessional. Overall, very comfortable beds,, clean, snd extremely nice place to stay. Ps- if you have small children please stay away from the small pond behind the home. We saw a small alligator back there and I’m sure where there is one there is more.

Arrived to pick up packet for entry , opened packet at property, no key. Called Vacasa 800 # ,explained issue, manager on duty called back about 10 minutes later, he got us in the rental! No lights on, used our phones, asphalt broken at entry off driveway, a real ankle twister! We entered the unit, brought our luggage inside and a few groceries. Poured a glass of milk for my grandson into a jewel colored green plastic cup between the milk and the green I find lipstick on the rim! Not acceptable! Poured out milk, washed cup, checked every cup, each piece of silverware , and everything else I used in the kitchen. NOT how I wanted to spend my time Coffee filters and trash can liners would be a nice touch 4-5 minute walk to the beach needs to be noted, for simplicity sakes... The house was comfortable, enjoyed the screened in porches I would stay again, however housekeeping needs to improve !!

Wonderful Place for a family vacation
Property was fantastic! Clean and a fantastic location. My wife and I have three small kids. It was very easy access to the beach. The only issues we had were that we were never given the pool code. Thankfully we were able to obtain this from another resident in the property. Also, we hung around after check-out, to enjoy some more beach time. The only instructions given were to check out online which we did and return the keys. We were planning on returning the keys on our way out of town. But thankfully I called. They told me if I didn’t turn in the keys that morning, it would be a late check-out. This should be communicated more clearly ahead of time. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay. We would go back!

Strangers entered while I was out of the house
Long story short… someone has a key and entered while I was out. I know because they left things on the counter that were not mine. Very scary. I had to work with the police, security in Sea Pines, and Vacasa who manages this property. And STILL had a hard time getting any Compensation when I had to move out (police’s recommendation) for safety sake. Hopefully they will change all the locks and make this place secure.

Fast wifi, all good as on pictures and very clean. Just a few minor things- Cutting board was almost broken when we arrived and needs replacement. Also rug in living room is very strange looking. A new rug or carpet , doesn’t have to be expensive would be nice.

Loved this bungalow!! Definitely would love to stay again!!
When we pulled up to this little bungalow, I fell in love!! It’s not as big as we are used to, but it was doable for our family of 5 (3 teens). The condo was immaculately clean, and I’m very particular. It’s decorated nicely and comfortable. The mattresses were too soft which is a matter of personal preference. Watching a baby alligator right behind the porch in the lagoon was a lot of fun! We loved the location!! The Beachwalk is right across the street and about 1/4 mile walk. The beach is not as crowded and very nice!! The bike trails are wonderful! Also, we were located pretty close to Coligny which we liked! The only poor rating I gave was for communication with Vacasa. I had emailed them 2 times a week before our trip and didn’t hear back from them until my trip was almost over. Even with that mishap, we would definitely enjoy staying here again!!! Great bungalow & great location!

Love this place! So clean and the location was perfect!
The property was very clean! There was plenty of room for our family (6 year old and 1 year old children). We loved the location, bring in Sea Pines, but also being so close to Coligny! There is a boardwalk just across the street to the beach and we we were right by the bike paths too. We loved the enclosed screened porches to sit with coffee in the morning and look out over the lagoon inlet!

Location to beach is excellent, thats why we choose to stay in Night Heron. The place was spacious, clean, beds are comfy. We arrived late to half the unit without power, contacted vacasa and property management and everything was resolved by lunch the next morning. While that was great, it seems the cleaning crew would have noticed this issue, just saying 🙄 overall Happy Ending!

Relaxing Quiet Spot Close to Beach
The rental unit itself was very unique. It looks like a small bird house from the outside, but that is deceptive. Inside the unit is quite spacious and met our needs completely. The space is perfect for up to 4 people. We had only 2 and we had plenty of room to stretch out. Everything worked perfectly and we had zero issues. The property is about a quarter mile walk to the beach and there is a beach pathway right across from the entrance to Night Huron. We loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful spot on the woods
The property was fantastic - a wonderfully laid out bungalow with adequate living space and kitchen, and screen porches off the living room and master bedroom. The surroundings are the most wonderful combination of big pines and Spanish Moss - almost jungle-like. The issues that we had with the property were check in, hot water, and house supplies. Taken in order: Our pick-up package was supposed to have keys in it and it did not. We were not able to get anyone to respond to us until after two hours, so we really did not know whether we had a place to stay after drivng 1,100 miles to get there and arriving near dusk. The people who helped were confused - sent us to two lock boxes that had no keys in them. We finally met someone who had keys and did not get into the place until 3 hours after we arrived! No hot water, and no one to call! We arrived to no hot water, and the number on the hot water heater was a weekday number with no emergency number. We ended up downloading the user manual for the hot water heater, and finding a concealed reset button behind a screwed-on panel. The directions said that the reset can be tripped due to scalding hoy water, which seemed to be the case once it came up to temperature. No supplies - basic things like coffee filters, salt and pepper, sugar, vegetable oil, adequate dishwasher and washing machine pods (there were two of each for a week's stay), plastic wrap, baggies, etc. This means that you have to go out and provision the place for the basics. We have never stayed in a rental that had so little provisions, and it was really disheartening to have to go out and buy all these things and then leave behind because of course we have them at home. The location was a 10 but the management company Vacasa was a 0, so we give the place a 2/5 for our stay. One would be better off renting from an owner rather than a management company as the responsibility is direct. The keys should have been in our package, the hot water should have been checked by cleaning staff, and the necessities for our stay should have been there. Hope you have a better experience, which is certainly possible. Ed and Ellen

AWESOME!
Can’t complain about a thing. I’ve been going to HHI for the better part of 30 years. Love it as much as the very first time I went. I’ve stayed ALL over the island. Night Heron is a GEM! Most convenient place I have ever stayed. I know the island very well. And I’ve stayed right in Harbour Town and at South Beach. That’s when you realize what a gem Night Heron is. If you go to the beach from either of the latter you have to load up your beach items (if you bring your own) and drive to the beach. But not at Night Heron. I put my beach chairs, boogie boards, sun umbrella, etc, etc, in my wagon, cross the street right onto a beautiful path straight to a pretty private beach! OUTSTANDING!!! Then ride bikes all over Sea Pines Plantation! As far as this particular property is concerned, just can’t say enough good things about it. Give it a try,. You WILL love it!
