I have used APA hotel before when traveling to other parts of Japan and always liked my stay. But I didn't enjoy my stay at this property as much. This property has poor cleaning and was kind of a deal breaker. I could see dust on the floor all over the room since day 1 (how can they not see that while vacuum cleaning?). There were some stains on the black sheet that they put out on the bed as well. I guess that's something we have to deal with for the cheaper price range they offer.

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I really enjoyed it like I did when I stayed here the first time. The facility is clean, safe, easy to find and the service is great. I highly recommend staying here.

Cons - Room size and Centralized AC Pros - location, service Tips - don’t do by the number of reviews or rating read it. Room sizes are awfully small, the bed can be accessed only from one size this should give you the idea that the room is just big enough that a double can fix in. Maybe try twin bed, it will have more space but be mindful about double one. Centralized AC - it’s centralized so if the hotel staff believes it’s winter they turn it on to heating mode and you cannot do anything about it. It’s actually suffocating given the temperature is high, small room size. We survived using air purifier/humidifier. Location is good and it’s fully booked but it depends on personal preferences. So please check reviews before it’s too late like us!

This is a great place. The location, staff, cleanliness, willingness to store luggage before and after your stay are all perks. We really enjoyed the public bath complete with a yukata and slippers provided. Highly recommend this hotel.

I actually loved this place. The laundry room is so so convenient and they have a channel on the tv that says when the machines are free, how long is left on them ect. Wish all of my hotels were apa ones now honestly

The cleanliness in the room needs to be improved. I didn't like that they claim to have daily housekeeping but they only provide the amenities outside the room, unless you requested the room to be made up. The room was cleaned and sheets changed by the fourth day. The onsen is nice but there is no cold pool and is vey crowded with many people. Good that they have washing machines with dryers.

The maid service doesn't invade every day. Only every three days. I like that. The rooms are so small, I have to turn sideways to get into the bathroom. The desk chair is impractical because the desk is so close to the bed, there is no room for the chair. No closets. No dresser. Only six hangars on two wall pegs. Tiny! But, it is in the heart of the busy city. If you don't need to spend much time in the room, the price is right for this hotel.
