We found the room to have a musty smell. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom could definitely been cleaner. The ceiling tiles were badly stained and the smoke detector was missing. The front desk people were friendly and polite. The breakfast was nice.

Great place to stay with kids- decent breakfast, really clean pool and hot tub. The staff were friendly and kind. Perfect in between location to hit up multiple areas of Michigan.

Staff was very friendly. They seemed a little short staffed. The room wasn't overly clean. My toddler stood in the tub and left black footprints from the carpet. It also smelled like mildew. Breakfast was nice. I probably would stay again because options are limited but it cold use a good deep clean.

Our 3 night stay at AmericInn by Wyndham was overall very good. Clean rooms. Great location. Nice pool. The only thing I would change is that they only have about 10 seats in the dining area. With over 100 guests at one time, finding a place to enjoy breakfast is almost impossible. Still a wonderful hotel overall!

Comfortable and Basic Hotel
Our one night stay was just fine. We liked the location and the room was comfortable, although the A/C was running full blast when we got in the room and after we turned it down, a very musty smell came from the unit, making the entire room smell bad. The kids enjoyed the pool and the coffee was good!

Staff at the hotel was helpful. There is a good amount of parking. The location is 10 mins away from Saugatuck and Douglas downtowns.
