Good, But Not Great.
We were on a late flight, so we arrived at the hotel near midnight. They gave us 2502, the top floor. The room was small and dated, but comfortable. But the room must have been under the main a/c, b'cos the humming was so loud that even my ear phones couldn't drown out the sound. We got switched the next day to a lower floor for the rest of our stay. But they gave us a room in the back that faces an old cemetery. I'm not superstitious, but for those ppl who are, pls be aware. The hotel is a little off the beaten path, but thank goodness they have a shuttle service to the most popular places. We didn't go to the buffet breakfast, b'cos there were other choices locally. But be careful, the homeless in the underpass beside the hotel are scary. Overall, you get what you pay for, but location to tourist spots was a big compromise.

The rooms weren’t as clean as I expected. Around the shower had mold and a gap which led to water easily leak out while showering. Lastly the gym was supposed to be maintained every hour but didn’t see anyone wiping it down or disinfectant replaced when there wasn’t any.

Great place to travel into the city. Great service from the staff. Breakfast was varied and always plenty. Only downsides were they asked us about peanut allergy at booking but didn’t warn us about the peanuts present. Also, they advertised the saving energy by not not getting room cleaned for a 20dollar voucher, but the days we didn’t bother getting it cleaned, we kept being phoned up and asking why we don’t want it cleaned. We only got one 20 dollar voucher once for each room.

The shuttle service offered by the hotel makes going to Causeway Bay or to Central very convenient. The bteakfast was very good, many choices to choose from.

A very average hotel. Not in the best location - and even walking to Wanchai was awkward. Getting taxi very difficult during busy times. Rooms were basic, bathrooms small and didn't even offer free water in very hot temperatures. Breakfast was like hunger games. The waiting staff are trained ninjas. No sooner do you finish the last scrap of food than they snatch your plate and utensils. If you get in the way you're in danger! And the food was poor with limited selection and very dirty carpets. By Hong Kong standards it was a reasonable price but with hindsight would have been better paying a bit more for a better hotel in a better location.

Location on it was perfect for me I am glad I stayed at Dorsett hotel On the other hand I hope they do a better breakfast service Example family with kids needed help getting their plates to the table. And it'll be a good Idea to have one of ten workers instead of standing there help them walk around tables see who is in need of coffee or tea . It'll take off traffic at the food court. (food was great)
