Fabulous hotel, great mate to order buffet for breakfast, minutes away from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommend the hotel if you’d like to hustle and bustle Waikiki. Personally, I would stay at the hotel, but get a car rental and explore outside of Waikiki area.

Wonderful stay

The hotel is beautiful and has the laid back feel. Staff were very helpful during the Tsunami warning lockdown and made sure all guest were safe. The resort fee will allow you to rent beach chairs and buggy boards for the beach and they have two water refill stations on the 1st floor. The view from our room balcony was amazing. Being able to see Diamond Head and the ocean from our room was really wonderful to wake up to.

The manager was exceptional. I was at the property during the threatened tsunami. He clearly had a plan to execute during the emergency. He kept everyone safe. He gave out free food and water. He maintained order. His staff assisted with the execution of the plan. The manager and his staff were patient and nice during the entire ordeal.

The stay at the Waikiki Beach Marriott was very comfortable and always from checking to check out. The stuff is very friendly and accommodating and always ready and willing to help if you have any questions about anything. The hotel is Central to everything and walkable to everywhere. I've stayed here for a few years now and will keep coming back and I highly recommend it for anyone families couples anyone who wants to enjoy a getaway to hawaii..

The rooms are tiny. The sheets had stains. The two pools are over crowded for the amount of people that stay at the Marriott. There’s no in room dining.
