The Waikiki Beach Marriott was wonderful. The hotel is clean and beautiful and in the perfect location at Waikiki Beach. We were able to walk to everything - shopping, dining, and scheduled activities like surfing. Our rooms were oceanfront with the best views of the ocean and Waikiki Beach. We spent a lot of time on our balcony. Rooms are updated, clean and well appointed. We only stayed a couple of days but we would come back and stay again!

One of the elevators did not go to our floor, somehow we always ended up in that elevator but we made the best of it. Our mini fridge was inclosed and went out so all of our food went bad, our ice cream melted and our protein shakes also went bad. Called the front desk and they waived one night of our resort fee.

Great stay right across the street from the beach but the $50 a day as resort fee is insanely high i would rather stay away from locations with resort fees. At least if i used the amenities then yes but just towels doesnt dp it for me. Other than the resort fee the island was great to us. I would go again but will look for no resort fee locations.

I think it's a beautiful area. The only thing I would like to see more signs or where to go or how to get to certain places inside the hotel. The staff is lovely very accommodating. The room service was great of cleaning and I had a great time.

Check in process needs improvement - no one greeting guests and directing for check in. Bonvoy members had 4 agents (maybe even 5) checking guests in and ‘regular’ guests had 1 agent checking in. 1 awkward conversation with a supervisor greeting the regular guests due to the wait.
