Perfect location. Outstanding. Great food. Warm welcome. Excellent room overall but a velux window needs a blind as the light comes in early and you can’t do anything about it - specific point to that room.
Would certainly recommend
An excellent two night stay to attend a wedding locally. Accommodation spotless, very comfortable bed, well proportioned room with all the facilities you would hope for. The pedestal fan was greatly appreciated too.
Food was all home-made and very tasty. The ginger cake with caramel sauce and the lamb and mint pie come highly recommended.
I did knock one star off for service as the waitress for saturday breakfast, shall we say, did not look like she was enjoying her job very much.
This one small comment aside, The Bulls Head is a lovely place to stay, we will have no hesitation in returning and thoroughly recommend it to all.
Everything was as expected in cleanliness and comfort. The milk for making a drink with in the room was conatined in a fridge on the landing. At least it was fresh milk.
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bull Inn at Foolow during the May Bank Holiday weekend. We were fortunate enough to book the apartment, which exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness and tasteful decor.
Upon our late arrival on Friday, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who even offered to keep the bar open for us to enjoy a nightcap. This gesture set the tone for the exceptional hospitality we experienced throughout our stay.
One of the highlights of our visit was the breakfast, especially the Derbyshire Breakfast. The lady who served us on Saturday and Sunday morning was an absolute delight. Her cheerful demeanor and welcoming attitude made our mornings even brighter.
The Bull Inn at Foolow is a charming bed and breakfast pub that offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff's attention to detail and genuine friendliness made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing getaway in the area.
A Cosy break away, the staff were lovely on arrival and the room was Cosy and clean.
It was the perfect escape for an evening and the food and drinks were fantastic ( especially the pork belly!)
Its a quiet area and beautiful views from the window, lots of blankets and the heating warmed the room up quickly.
There was a spaceous shower room with basic essentials for a short stay, and tea and coffee making facilities. Only downside was the lack of alternative milk.
Andrew and the team of staff at the Bull where brilliant, they could not do enough for us. The rooms we stayed in where exceptionally clean and thoughtfully decorated and quite spacious. The food was of a very high standard.
