We booked for 2 nights, mainly because we wanted somewhere we could park the car safely whilst visiting Colmar, but this hotel did not come up to the standard we expected of Ibis. Firstly, there was building work going on, which was a bit disturbing. However, it was the room facilities that were most disappointing. The room was not well lit, nor was the bathroom. It seemed impossible to get enough light for my wife to see properly for makeup etc. The room was smaller than we had expected, with very limited space to sit anywhere apart from on the bed. The bathroom layout was strange, as the inclusion of a "walk-in" shower meant you virtually had to sit on the toilet to access the washbasin. One bedside light did not work and, despite our request for it to be repaired, nothing was done during our stay. We did not have any meals in the hotel.
