Upon arrival, we were told they did not have our reservation. I told them I booked through Hotels.com and they said they didn't have it. Thankfully I had a print out of my reservations and they finally either found it or made room. I do know, we were traveling with a school band and the hotel said they didn't have their reservation either and the head of the band spoke with a representative and signed a contract with the hotel.
Then we were gone all day at a competition with band. We came back hot and sweaty ready to take a nice shower. Upon entering the bathroom we discovered all our towels were taken but never replaced. Not sure why they entered the room. The do not disturb tag was on the door the entire day and the room was not cleaned in any other way other than the towels were gone.
At check out when I turned in my keys I asked for a printed receipt and was told they couldn't provide one, Hotels.com provides that. Not 100% sure why they can't print a receipt for me when I received one later that evening from Hampton via email.
Although we had some issues that I would never expect from a Hampton Inn, the staff did try to work with us. It was just a weekend of mishaps.
