The location of the property was good, and it was very clean and bright. However, we were unable to have a meal on arrival unless it was part of a community BBQ, that was being held, and only if we came to eat immediately after arrival! No time to freshen up - eating at 18:30 felt too early as well. The food was good though! We were scolded loudly by a member of staff at breakfast for sitting at a table set for 4, when we were 2 people. We couldn’t see a table for 4 and no one was about to ask. First time in my life to have been “told off” in public like this. We only had a light breakfast and left as soon as we could. What happened to customer service??? Finally, the bathroom in our room was inadequate. The sink was tiny and the tap was also for the shower!! The space was so small it was like being in a caravan! For the price we expected something more fit for purpose.

This property didn't have the appeal and look and feel of a 'typical' hotel and appeared to be a transformed former medical or elderly care facility. Nevertheless, the hotel met our needs for a good, quiet and comfortable night on the road while we were biking around Denmark. No frills, but totally satisfactory...frankly, the choices in the area seemed quite limited. The surroundings are very quiet and peaceful.
