We asked to be moved to a different room after our first night there. We moved rooms in the middle of the night because the mold was so strong it was making our eyes water and skin crawl any time we went into the bathroom. We thought the move at first was the right choice although the bathroom in the second spot felt even worse but couldn’t directly connect to mold since it wasn’t visible like it was in the other room. We were wrong. We couldn’t turn on the AC unit because we would INSTANTLY start itching and eye would hurt. We didn’t want to move again so we suffered through the last night. We let the front desk know about the issues and that they had a serious infestation of mites in the second room. If your skin looks like you just took acid with how wavy it is and the sweat covered notebook you keep in your back pocket looks like someone left you a good morning pick me up YOU HAVE AN INFESTATION! The whole place obviously has mold and mold brings mold mites, which can and often bring scabies, and skin infections, and everything else you don’t want to be paying $100 or more a night for.

It was good. Comfortable bed and clean room. Check in was easy. Check out was odd. The hotel refunded the sepsis they took upon check in, but they didn't charge us anything. They said we would get a receipt in a week to ten days. They seemed to not realize that we needed to pay them. And they claimed to not know the total amount agreed upon. Suggest paying hotels.com up front for less trouble.

The property was conveniently located, and I slept comfortably. Considering how crazy the roads are in Houston, it was relatively easy to get to. The toilet in the room I was in had to be flushed a couple times whenever it was used, but that could probably be adjusted. I had hoped for some juice or milk that I could just grab and go with for breakfast, since I'm not a coffee person; however the continental breakfast looked and smelled good. I'll likely be back next time I need to stay overnight in Houston. The staff was friendly.

Customer service was absolutely amazing! Rosa at the front desk was super efficient, very friendly and made me feel like an old friend vs just a guest. Would go back for her stellar service alone. Rooms were clean & nice. Hotel overall was quiet and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
