Got there and they told me I did not have a room booked even after I gave them confirmation number! I had booked the room since December of last year for the Metallica concert! I waited in line for 2 hours for them to tell me I’m sorry we don’t have your room! I go on li e and they had rooms available for $468! I paid $181 online on December when I booked room!

The hotel itself was very nice. The employees at the counter were very nice. However, there were not enough people working at check in. It took an hour and a half to get checked in. There was a sold out concert at NRG stadium and the hotel was also sold out. Why weren't there enough employees working to make check in a shorter amount of time. We missed part of the concert because of it.

Stayed here for concert at NRG stadium with a doors open time of 4pm. With check in time at 3pm the staff was overwhelmed with the amount of people but were friendly and did the best they could. The rooms were old and run down with dirty drop ceilings in the bathrooms and blood spots on one of the pillow cases. Only reason to stay here is the walking distance to NRG stadium.

Room wasn’t bad, was in building 5 2nd floor and you could tell between the elevator and the bathroom at least this floor was an add on. Bathroom was very small and the elevator looked unfinished.

The only good thing about this property is the location. We were visiting for a concert at NRG. The first room they put us in smelled and was very outdated. The elevator door took forever to close and it had a large hole. We asked to be moved to a different room which was in the main building. This room was a little better but still outdated.

First off I rarely leave negative reviews. We stay at Wyndham locations often because they are nice. However, upon checkin there were over 75 people waiting in line to check in. From the time I entered the hotel until reaching the reception desk was 1hr and 34min. The hotel was not staffed and prepared for the amount of people checking in. We were placed in a room off of the main tower in the garden area. This area is extremely rundown, dirty, noisy and felt unsafe as the exterior doors were unlocked allowing easy access into the hotel. The bathroom was very outdated and small and felt dirty also. The bed was nice but the carpet was old and smelled. There was an exterior door leading to a shared balcony which also left unsafe feeling and concern. The area around the hotel is not that great. We booked her to be close to a major venue but would have been better to book elsewhere and Uber into the venue.

First there were over 100 people in line to check in and only 3 people checking in so it took over an hour to check checked into our room. There was no AC in the lobby, it was 100 degrees outside so it was very very hot. We booked a suite and what we got was trash, this thing was old and falling apart. The water was yellow and looked like your tub and toilet was full of pee, the countertops/floors stained with who knows what. The tiles on the ceiling had huge gaps in it and there was about 1/2 inch gap all around the doors. We had to pack towels in the bedroom door to keep the light from coming in. The AC could not keep the room as cool as we liked which is insane for what we paid, when the AC blew it filled the room with mildew smelling air, you can tell the minute you walk into the hall that this hotel had water damage at some point. The sheets were stained but we were tired after the concert so we just went to sleep, the bed was large but obviously a cheap hard mattress. Overall this is an overpriced motel that they get away with charging so much because of the distance and convenience of being close to NRG stadium. We were also charged $30 for parking but when we booked there was nothing that stated we would be charged for parking. If you are here for a concert go ahead and stay but get the cheapest room because there are no upgrades and the suites are trash.

Charged for parking because of local event. I was not made aware until check in. Booking and hotel listing says parking included. Paid and extra $60 for two vehicles. Wyndham Hotel near NRG stadium

The hotel was nice & very convenient if you have an event to attend at NRG stadium. Maybe a 5-10 minute walk at most!! Room was spacious and clean. Guest services attendee was super nice and very attentive. I would recommend staying at this hotel.

1 hr to check in standing in line. 30 dollars for parking that should be included. The room was nice but bathroom could use updating. On the 7 th floor not much hot water or water pressure. It was ok. The staff were friendly. We made use of the bar which was slow on service (2 bartenders only for a busy place)and expensive.
