The hotel is in an old building but the rooms are nicely renovated, spacious and clean. The bathroom is big and modern and has a hair dryer. The hotel has no restaurant, but there is a restaurant next door. The hotel offers a basic continental breakfast, but there are many good breakfast alternatives in the area, so we opted for a coffee and a bite at a nearby cafe.
Loved the location: on a quiet street, just a few blocks from the market square in the old city centre. Nice wine bar nearby, quite a few good eats within 15 min walk. The parking is on the street, but the area looks safe enough, no concerns. The hotel gives our temporary residential parking permits for the duration of the stay. We had no problem finding a spot.
The reception is not always attended, but if you ring a bell at the entrance door someone will be with you momentarily. The lady at the reception will provide a map and answer any questions you may have. She speaks good English. If you arrive before the designated check in time, it is very likely they will not be ready for you.
Overall, highly recommended and a good value for money.
