We were visiting the Culinary Institute of America, and this hotel is literally right across the street. It's about a 5 minute drive from the FDR presidential library, which was also cool.
The room was big and very nice. More of a suite - kitchen, desk, etc. There was a mini bar with wine and whiskey and chocolate and various food.
The breakfast is probably the best hotel breakfast I've had. Great food, lots of it (no lines), etc.
The only real issue was transportation. We had taken a train so we had to get ubers to and from places; it took them a while to get to the hotel - there's not a huge uber presence in the area, and it's 5-7 minutes from town, so leave a couple minutes for that. Especially during rush hour; you may have to wait for someone to finish a run then drive up to you.
Also, I don't know if they didn't have them or they were just sold out the night we were there, but we would have liked a room with two queen beds, but all they had was one king and a foldout couch.
