The Legacy House is a short and easy FOUR-MINUTE WALK to the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway first turn. You don't get any closer than this! It is also only one block west of Speedway's revitalized Main Street that includes quaint shopping, ice cream parlor, and multiple resturants. Centrally located just 12 minutes West of downtown Indianapolis makes getting around easy and quick. The airport is only 14 minutes away, with I-465 access 1.5 miles from the home.

This historical neighborhood is charming and very safe, with great neighbors and fantastic access to surrounding amenities.

This home was built in the 1930s and includes many original features including glass doorknobs, original bathroom tile, built-in cabinets, and lovely original (albeit creaky) hardwood floors throughout. Speedway, Indiana claims to be a "Town built on Tradition" and you feel that in this wonderful home.

The town of Speedway incorporated closes all parking on streets close to IMS on qualification and race days. There is No street parking on race and qualifying days around the home. This home does include one guaranteed off-street parking on the RIGHT side of the detached garage behind the unit on Cord Street, less than 100 feet from the front door.

This unit is a duplex. This home opens up to the south on 16th street, the other unit opens onto Cord Street.

Plenty of street parking is available on 16th street (front of home) and the west side of Cord street (along the side of the home) when not qualification or race days.
